- Intensive course structure, we have assesments almost every month which helps us to be on our toes with the syllabus
- Great labs, we have amazing ac labs that have other research scholars to help us out along with the faculty
- Green campus, the campus is literally sobjuge you cannot cover it in a single day. Walking around the campus is a leisurely pleasure
Dislikes
- Discrimination against north indians in fests, infair representation
- Most faculty is not that well versed with their own courses
Remarks :
I applied to other colleges and had offers from VIT, SNU, Manipal but i went for Srm since it provided me the most felxible learning system. The environment here was more studious than other colleges so i was more keen on joining this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have been a keen learner in coding for the past few yeats so i was naturally excited to opt for AI-ML course. The course design was what pushed me towards it since we have a very balanced semester with low and hugh credit courses along with zero credit ones for knowledge purposes
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Being in the specialisation of AI-ML, we have a fees of 4.5 lakh a year. Mostly other branches have a course fee of 4 lakh only. I am agenral candidate and got admission agter clearing the SRMJEEE entrance exam. College provides scholarships to meritorious students based on cgpa, economic background, army background etc.
Campus Life :
We have a LOT of clubs around campus. The clubs focus on the overall growth of the students; from dance and music to women empowerment and self defense, the college has clubs for all your interests. Sports are very sought after here and people have turfs around campus to focus on their ganes
Hostel Facilities :
I was in the hostel in my first year (Kalpana Chawla hostel) and that was one of the most happening year of my life. I amde great friends, had a lot of all nighters for exams and learnt true friendships.
Faculty :
Mostly the ratio stands at an average of 50 students to 1 teacher. Some faculty members are very approachable and provide the best of assignments and guidance but some fail to fill in those shoes. Exams are conducted every month and mostly everyone clears them since it is strictly based on what is taught in classes. The course curriculum is at par with the industry standards

after 6th semester normally student becomes eligible for the placement. the average pack is of 3 lacks per yeart to highest of 3 crores per year. percentage relay don't matters much but the overall character does matter.
