- There is so much crowd is there in this campus
- The weather is worse here , chennai weather is so hot and humid
- The overall fee is very high and and difficult to afford
Remarks :
I tried for vit exam , but my rank in vitee exam was too high so i couldn't get into main campus . I heard of the popularity of the srm college and its infrastructures and campus life , so i joined here. For admission one has to give srmjee exam which is conducted in 3 phases . One is eligible for the fesired courses according to their rank .
Course Curriculum Overview :
In the first year mostly the syllabus is of 11th and 12th year . From 2nd year they start adding professional courses . As for the the coding languages in first year they teach c promming , c++ and python , in second year they start java language . After every 2 unit completion they conduct one exam . The questions are asked from the teaching only .
Internships Opportunities :
For every coding subject they ask students for a mini project . It gives internship opportunities . In 3rd year it gives a long holiday just for the students to grab an internship . One has to make a nice project to get selected for an internship.
Placement Experience :
The average package of this year in srm is 7.5Lpa and highest package is 52Lpa . 90 percentage of the people got placement. It offers campus placement . students from 3rd year itself can start sitting for the placement interviews .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees for computer science course is 45000 , but this year it has increased 25000 . It also takes exam fees of 3500 rs for end sem exam . Except for these , there's no lab fees and all . Srm provide many scholarships like defence scholarship, rank based scholarship, merit scholarship, alumni scholarship etc and students can avail for that . For getting these scholarships ,one must maintain a cgpa above 8 , and there should not be any backlogs and disciplinary actions . But it is quite difficult to afford as the fee is quit high
Campus Life :
Two main fests happens in srm . One is aarush which is a technical fest conducted in September or october , and milan which os a cultural fest conducted in march . It has lots of clubs , including technical and cultural and so many events , workshops keep happening. The campus life is nice and fun .
Faculty :
The faculties are nice here and well educated in their respective field .they teach nice and ready for solving doubts. There is 1 faculty for 56 students but in lab there are 4 to 5 faculties . In one semester they take 3 internal exams . It constitute our internal marks . It is not that difficult to pass the exam as all the knowledge from our classroom is easy to clear it . Then final semester exam is conducted in the end of semester.

Mention the Tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees and the other compulsory charges during the course completion as per the category (like Management, SC, ST). Also, share the fees of your batchmates for categories other than yours. Names and amounts of scholarships or financial aid that are available for students. Like merit cum need.

Since the college only had 100 students from its first batch only a few got campus placements.The college provides students who hadn't got campus placement internships which could help them secure a job and for the final years only two months of classes would be there after that SRM is providing them internships to improve their skills and get high paying jobs

For the starting of 3rd year the students are eligible for campus placements. There are many companies visiting our company. There so many offers for the students and the average package is 6 lakhs per annum and the highest package is 55 lakhs per annum. 80 percent of students gets placed every year.
