The course curriculum at St. Xavier’s College is quite relevant and comprehensive. It includes core subjects, electives, and practical components, offering a well-rounded education in Statistics and Mathematics. The integration of practical work and theoretical knowledge was a key factor in choosing this course, as it promises a strong foundation for both real-world applications and advanced studies. **Real-World Preparation**: The curriculum effectively prepares students for real-world challenges and further academic pursuits by aligning with industry standards and research trends. **Areas for Improvement**: To enhance the curriculum, consider incorporating more contemporary topics and hands-on learning opportunities. Improving interactive teaching methods could also benefit student engagement and understanding.

At Pratibha College, campus placements for BSc Statistics students are quite limited. Placement opportunities are rare, and there are few companies specifically seeking graduates with a statistics background. As a result, students often need to find job opportunities independently. Students typically become eligible for campus placements starting from their final semester, but the options are limited. Companies that visit the campus might not always have openings for statistics roles, and the offers made are few. Details on the highest and average packages are not well-documented, reflecting the scarcity of placement options. Given the limited campus placement opportunities, it's advisable for students to actively seek employment through external job searches, internships, or by leveraging networking opportunities. Many graduates may also consider pursuing further education or certification courses to enhance their employability.
the placements are average in our college it is aroung 4-5lpa and there are 3-4 companies which come every year and hire students. 30-40% students are hired every year and get intership programs are also there
Students become eligible for campus placements after 5th semester. Mostly there are 4-5 companies which visit during campus visits. The highest package last year provided to bsc.cs student was of 6lpa and average package is around 4lpa. Around 30-40% students get placements. The curriculum's focus on practical skills and real-world applications attracted me to this course. The curriculum effectively bridges theory and practice, preparing students for both careers and further studies. Incorporate more hands-on projects and update teaching methods to include modern technologies and practices. Exams are frequent and well-timed, with a balanced difficulty level that appropriately challenges students.
