Remarks :
I applied to xavier's because i liked the infrastructure and the history behind st xaviers college. Also the expert faculty in statistics is also a factor. I got admission in several other colleges but the vibrant campus life and the reputation of xaviers made me chose xavier's over others. The admission process is pretty simple. We just have to send our higher secondary results and based on cut off we get in.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is really good at xavier's. The faculties provide examples of real life applications to most of the theory they teach. But the curriculum needs more projects and hands on experiments in several aspects. Two semester exams in a year is conducted and the difficulty level range from moderate to difficult.

Campus Life :
The annual intercollege festival of xaviers is called malhar and it is one of the best fests in mumbai. It is held in august. Also there is janfest and various other fests. The library is a home to a wide range of various books and you will get any books in any genre here. The facilities and technological provisions here are really nice. The campus support a lot of sports and extracurricular activities thereby supporting the students in their area of interest. There are a lot of student run social groups and clubs that helps the students in engaging social activities.
Faculty :
St xavier's has a wide range of experted faculty in many fields. Many of the faculty are approachable and most of them help us with our studies if we find it difficult. One of the nitable facluty include annapurna ma'am and saju sir of statistics department. They teach really well and clear all pur doubts in the class itself. Economics,english and bms department have other notable faculties. The math department faculties are not that effective. They fail to clear some doubts and the materials they teach are unclear to most of the students.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The subject I opted is microbiology and our department is actually very strict in case of studies but on the same side the staff is also very good . We very perform various experiment like testing blood,water and soil which are used in laboratories in day to day examination. The teaching method is also very great to understand. And the examination are also moderate
