The curriculum is really good at xavier's. The faculties provide examples of real life applications to most of the theory they teach. But the curriculum needs more projects and hands on experiments in several aspects. Two semester exams in a year is conducted and the difficulty level range from moderate to difficult.

The subject I opted is microbiology and our department is actually very strict in case of studies but on the same side the staff is also very good . We very perform various experiment like testing blood,water and soil which are used in laboratories in day to day examination. The teaching method is also very great to understand. Students become eligible for campus placements after 5th semester. Mostly there are 4-5 companies which visit during campus visits. The highest package last year provided to bsc.cs student was of 6lpa and average package is around 4lpa. Around 30-40% students get placements. My plans after getting degree is to pursue higher education.
