Admission was done by jee advanvced exam my rank was 4500 after the rank come the admission process was through josaa counselling which in my time was held in 6 rounds now it is held in only 5 rounds and based on the rank we get suitable branch and iit or gfti or nit
Some courses are hard though mostly are easy Academics provide enough time to engage in other co curricular activities Number of course are 4 to 5 and mostly 1 2 lab Quizzes take place more often Courses are pretty understanding and more of practical
Internship from our college can be taken both from on campus and off campus. Though from on campus mostly cs and elec students get placed Alums provide full support in internship and also how to prepare for them. Intern season start from the end of second year. Though I do not know much about internship as I am in second year right now.
Campus placement are one of the best in India Our cs average is more then 50 lakhs the average package is almost 23 lacs per annum. Most of the students get placed during the placement. Almost 50 people get PPO.
I pay approx 2,80,000 per year It includes everything from tuition fees, admission fees, registration, etc We pay approximately 22,000 for Mess per sem. Academic fees is around two lakhs per year and hostel fees is around 12,000 per year We paid around 20,000 during our JOSAA counselling
Campus life is really very nice. Our college conducts mood indigo which is Asia larger college fest, techfest which is Asia larger technical fest and also e summit. There are various clubs and a mandatory sport to take in first year. Overall the extra curricular is at best in our college
The faculty members are very knowledgeable and almost everyone had done PhD. Every semester they provide a list of project under various professors which can be done Some of the professors are even past CEO of big companies like Tata motors
The placements here at IIT Bombay are very very good. If a student has really done good or just put some efforts on skill development, he definitely gets placed and in a very good amount. A large number of companies visit for placements like Tata, L&T, Google, Apple, Microsoft, Uber, SONY, Samsung, Mahindra, Reliance, Qualcomm, Bajaj, Jaguar, Loreal, JSW, Hitachi, Mercedes, Havells,P&G, ITC, HUL, ONGC, HP, BYJUS, etc. This year around 1753 offers were made, out of which 1438 were accepted by the students in phase-1. All the information is available on IITB website. The highest package was around INR 4.23 CPA (in quant sector) and an average package of around INR 21.26 LPA. Around 82.1% of students were placed this year. Some students didn't sit for placements because they want to study further in foreign universities, or doing MBA further, or UPSC, etc.
Student from 5th semester are eligible for placement. There are 130+ companies visit our college every year and almost 800 student get placed every year Highest salary is 40LPA and average package is of 10.98LPA More than 90% of students get placed and I'm also gonna take good placement

Large companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Jane Street, Procter and gamble Jaguar, Microsoft, Google, etc comes for the placement. The highest package was around INR 4.2 CPA. And average package is around 21.26LPA. In the phase 1, around 1700 Placement offers were made and out of which 1450 offers were Accepted by the students. Around 82.1% of students gets placed in phase 1. My plan after getting the degree is to take a job and settle down.
