Earlier the course curriculum was such that the students could only do their studies in their core branch. But now, the course curriculum is such that the students can take courses in diiferent branches also. Also if somebody wants to pursue a minor degree in any course other than his/her core course then, he may do it. All the stuff taught in class is relevent only. They take us from base to advanced level with its industrials applications. This way the course curriculum is really helpfull and craves the child for real world. The areas of imporvement are like, making the class more interactive instead of making attendance compulsory. as it is not that much helpful. Also there are lot of exams, like, we have quizzes for some course in alternative weeks, and in rest of the weeks we have some projects or assignments to do for some courses. There is no free time. we also have one midsem and one endsem exams.

Campus life is really good. Sometimes it becomes bad because some people are really mean and I don't like them. But not all, few are really really helpful and great person. Mood Indigo, Techfest, E-Summit, Aahvan, Advitiya, Alumination, etc are some of the college fests. Besides them, their are lot of other events, like Salsa Night, Insti Night, AIDS, Surbahar, Performing Arts Festival, Sophieprod, and one special event from all the clubs for freshers. The Library has almost all the books whic are referred by the profs and are from diff diff authors for same topic. The reading hall facility is available 24/7 with air conditioned halls. In the classrooms, the vibe is great. It has smart LEDs, ACs, seating cap of around 300 in some classes and 50 in some rooms. There are also Charging ports on each table. WiFi facility is also available every where in the lecture hall. Sports facilities are very very good, with regular provision of balls, better infrastructure, etc from institute.
There are around 20 hostels in IIT Bombay. Some new hostels are also under construction right now because some of the hostels are very old. For fresher students Hostel-1 and 16 are provided with 2 persons in one room. H16 room sare 1.5 times bigger than H-1 rooms. and rooms to washrooms ratio is good in H-16-A,B wing. Both of them are really good with larger rooms and clean infrastructure. In second and 3rd year, we are alloted parent hostels which are old. In 4th year, we are alloted hostel-17 or 18 and Single rooms. Both of them are the best hostels in the insti. For Girls, H-16-C wing is alloted, in 2nd and 3rd year, Hostel-15 is alloted. In 4th year, Hostel-10 is provided. In the rooms, two tables, 2 chairs, one fan, no AC, two lights, 2 almirrahs are provided. mess food is really good and healthy. Registration of hostel is done with course registration only, and the hostel adn room are already fixed by the administration.
Faculty over there is highly qualified. Some of them are IIT passouts from 90s. Some of them have done PHD from top knotch colleges of world like stanford, MIT, etc. Some of them also haev taught in those top premier institutes. They also have published a large number of books in their topic of reseach. Our entrepreneurship prof have taught a large number of CEOs of top companies. for example, The CEO of OLA Cabs, Bhavish Agarawal is also student of hers. Our ENT prof also hosts guest lectures from them, which is a very nice way to learn from experience of our seniors. The prof to student interaction is improved by Teaching assistant programme, in which each course have certain number of TAs to reduce the student-prof gap. Good thing is this programme is also ideated and executed by the students only. i.e, the students only do all the things to make our institute best.

I choose Metallurgy and materials engineering because It is good in VNIT nagpur being an old college it has also good exposure and placement is also Some how good. If I talk about my college student ratio is like other engineering colleges and in my class also there is 1 girl per 7 boys . Talking about the faculty of my college , they are very good and nice. Some Professor recently in world's top 2% scientist. There have two exam in a semester that is mid sem and end sem.
Our faculty told us students can get placements from any semester if they are capable and have a good GPA. The highest package was from Google for 51LPA. Average is around 7LPA. I'm not aware of the percentage of students getting placements but if I get a placement I'll proceed with that otherwise I'll go for masters.
In 7th semester Students are eligible for placements. So many companies vists the campus and recruits the students. Highest package of college is increasing every year this year it was of 54 lpa in Microsoft. Companies like Capgemini, Persistent,TCS, and many more vists the college. 70 to 80 % students get placed each year. And some of the students also start entrepreneurship one of the example is the startup cooliewala. I will opt for the placements, and them will apply for post graduation.
Curriculum is essential to guide teachers in what to teach, how much depth of knowledge is needed for that grade, and a a timeline to follow so the year will be completed. Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free. She was laughing at such a test. She said no one does that anymore, they just type t
