- The ODL is really helpful for students living in remote area.
- Books are easy to read and understand. Really good.
Dislikes
- Re-registration process is really complicated.
- You require demand draft and what not which is easy to confuse new students.
- No such extracurricular activities are held .
Remarks :
Eligibility criteria are very low so any student can pursue courses to their liking The application form and other information can be found on their official website: https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/ Frequency of exam is like their are exams in a year and you can give exams with comfort as you can give exams anytime within the 2 exams that take place in July and December and difficulty level is same as other colleges
Course Curriculum Overview :
Courses at IGNOU are generally easy to access but tougher to complete because the education being an open college is the same and the difficulty is also the same So people thing open college exams are easy, they are wrong.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly fees I paid was 5500rs including all the charges like tution fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development charges, etc. My batchmates pursuing different course has the same fees as me for honors. An yearly scholarship of 5000rs is rewarded
Campus Life :
KoAs for functions No such festivals have been held since 2019. As for graduation ceremony it is held at Baba Saheb Ambedkar Convention Centre. Ignou students are not participating in any social group so if anyone wants to join a college just for studies and no other activities then you can join.
Faculty :
Faculty to student ratio is really less but it won't affect most of the students because of ODL. As teachers in IGNOU recieve less salary than other teachers in India, it indirectly affects the teaching experience If a students attends a lecture then the interaction with teachers will be normal but it will be different for students with ODL.

After a curriculum is developed, the curriculum committee can breathe a sigh of relief, but their work is not done. Only when the curriculum is implemented and then evaluated will the committee know to what extent their efforts were successful. It is fair to say that no curriculum is perfect because there are almost always factors that may influence the curriculum that were unknown during the development process. As a former curriculum coordinator, I know that every curriculum, if it is to be most effective, is revised based on the results of an evaluation.

The descision making for the course I opted was solely mine but as I progressed through the course I found out that new students were a bit confused about the curriculum. To improve such curriculum the authorities should be more actively engaged with new students to enhance their teaching and learning methods. The difficulty of the examination is the same as other colleges and the students do prepare for the exams as other college students do.
