The admission process of Salesian college Siliguri was quite easy as the admission could be done in offline as well as in online mode. One must have good marks in the subject they are choosing in their board exams to enter this college easily.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I decided to choose salesian college siliguri as it is one of the best colleges in Siliguri. As there are many extracurricular activities in this college it gives all the students the opportunity and also boosts up their confidence to face the real world. The exams are difficult and easy at the same time as the professors provide us with all the necessary notes and it's upto the students if they study or not.
Internships Opportunities :
The intership opportunities that salesian college siliguri is incredible. All the students of this college get this opportunity and none of them wanna miss it as it so outstanding. The internship they provide us gives us a lot of exposure which helps all the students to reach their goal.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The detailed fee structure of salesian college siliguri is that is has four instalments and for each instalment we have to pay 20 thousand approximately. I have taken English honours and I belong to the NEP batch which makes my course 4 years long. My pg rent is 9700 monthly. The admission fees is the same for all the students irrespective of their castes.
Campus Life :
My overall experience in salesian college Siliguri is quite fun and happening as the environment allows us to explore and meet people from different parts of India. There are many clubs that the students are free to join which gives all the students to actively take part in their desires.
Hostel Facilities :
I am staying in paying guest as I did not want to stay in a hostel. I have rented a paying guest near my college and it's only about five minutes of walking distance. The paying guest offers everyone according to the money I am paying.
Faculty :
The faculty members of Salesian college, siliguri (autonomous) are quite impressive and there way of communication is quite nice. The professors are all well mannered and understand the needs of the students also also some of the faculty members understand what the students are going through and have a mentoring session daily.
Interview Experience :
Yes, I did have to write an admission test and their were many group discussion interviews. Once the admission is done, the faculty members bring all the students together and asks us to tell something about ourselves and makes it quite easier for the students in the future.

This curriculum is enriched with literature works by British and American writers which is really enjoyable to read and the Teachers make it more exciting. Teachers are really good at explaining every single point in the syllabus. In the history of literature part they give us notes about each and every write a and there works so that we are familiar with most of the part of our syllabus. They does not teach only for the exams but they make sure that we learn everything with depth. We have a semester exams in every 6 month but sometimes it becomes 7 or 5. But the teachers are really supportive so that we don't panic in our exams.

my particular course english doesn't really have placements right now/ currently in our college but BBA/SCI has placements and the placements are around 2-3 lakhs depending on the student and the course.
