the admission process was a three day long process as the first day being a normal day of getting to know the faculty and the course, the second consisted of a test generally on the course we took and why we took the course
my course being english which is a very important part of a student's life in general. learning english is a part of every student's journey since childhood, english is a good learning experience and it helps a lot of students
the availability and details of internship opportunities can vary widely depending on the college and its industries connections. internships opportunities: techcorp solutions green energy innovations outcomes
my particular course english doesn't really have placements right now/ currently in our college but BBA/SCI has placements and the placements are around 2-3 lakhs depending on the student and the course.
i think my course is not so expensive and can be affordable to pretty much most people in the society it has a lot of other benefits too so it doesn't really matter too much as everything has pros and cons to it
the overall experience with my campus life was pretty much good. there were multiple events and festivals in our college, there were students participating from different colleges around the area and everyone had fun
the faculty members are very friendly and helpful to everyone. i had a good time interacting with all my teachers and staff members in the college. Everyone in the college is always very nice and supportive to every student.
The college is very affordable, and transport is easy. But the timings of the college is very ling which fine if the classes are continuous. Few professors need improvement they themselves don't know what they are teaching
The course curriculum is well-structured, providing a balanced blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application. It covers a wide range of relevant topics, ensuring students gain comprehensive insights into the subject matter. However, some areas could benefit from more depth or updated content to stay current with industry trends. Overall, it's a robust and valuable learning experience.
The course curriculum at Salesian College, Siliguri, is rated highly for its relevance and comprehensiveness. It aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, offering a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The curriculum is holistic, including core subjects, electives, and interdisciplinary courses that prepare students for both professional careers and further academic pursuits. However, the strict marking system can make it challenging to achieve high grades, which might be a concern for some students.
This curriculum is enriched with literature works by British and American writers which is really enjoyable to read and the Teachers make it more exciting. Teachers are really good at explaining every single point in the syllabus. In the history of literature part they give us notes about each and every write a and there works so that we are familiar with most of the part of our syllabus. They does not teach only for the exams but they make sure that we learn everything with depth. We have a semester exams in every 6 month but sometimes it becomes 7 or 5. But the teachers are really supportive so that we don't panic in our exams.
I decided to choose salesian college siliguri as it is one of the best colleges in Siliguri. As there are many extracurricular activities in this college it gives all the students the opportunity and also boosts up their confidence to face the real world. The exams are difficult and easy at the same time as the professors provide us with all the necessary notes and it's upto the students if they study or not.
