- Bad management for fees collection during the end of semester.
Remarks :
There was no admission exam for me. It might be because of my good grades, but the cut off for getting into my college is atleast 60%. The person incharge for explaining the admission process to me was really helpful.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course that i have chosen is really good. It teaches me how the corporate world works. All the subjects that are being taught in my course are very helpful and beneficial to us. This course is making my base extremely strong.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure of my college is moderate like 120000rs. If I am honest, a private college will definitely charge alot more than government colleges. But the campus employment opportunities of our college is really great too.
Campus Life :
The overall experience of my college till date is moderate. I'm not much of an extroverted or outgoing person so i didn't attend mots of the programes and functions. But i can definitely assure you that there are a ton of functions or co curricular activities provided by my college like freshers and farewll, NCC, NSS etc.
Faculty :
The faculty members re very considerate and helpful. They aways try to understand the problem of the students. Their is always a good student teacher relationship. The teachers are more like mentors than teachers.

The question paper I set by the professors only. The method of teaching is also good. The internship program also helps you to improve yourself and to know how to work. And the difficulty level of the questions paper are not so very high

I wanted to become an entrepreneur and that is why I opted for Business Administration Degree. Therefore to become an entrepreneur I need to have understanding of all aspects of business thus I opted for this degree. As we are having a 4 year degree program the college will provide training and internship programs accordingly in the 2nd and 3rd year. The college curriculum also intends to conduct seminars and business program relevantly and also calls out big names from the industry that shares their experiences which helps us to have a concept. I beleive that the students of BBA especially should be given more responsibilities and events to conduct in college as it will be a good practice for us. The exam timings are perfect as it is set by the University and the college cannot do anything to change it's timing.

The placement of this college is very good. I got the opportunity to work with Haayat regency due to this college. Many students got placed in 5 star hotels. The faculty members teaches and prepare us in such a manner that we are bound to get placement

Institute of Engineering & Management , Kolkata has not released the 2024 placement data. However, the 2024 NIRF report has been released. As per the report, 767 BTech and 21 MTech students were placed during 2023 placements. The median package for BTech and MTech stood at INR 4.80 LPA and INR 4.25 LPA, respectively. In addition to this, 246 MBA students were placed during IEM Kolkata placements 2023. The median package offered to MBA students was INR 15 PA.

Placement Experience :
The college offers a range of internships as early as from First Semesters. With a mix of paid and unpaid internships based on experience and knowledge. Overall every student is highly satisfied with the internships and events for the same by the college. Though the college boasts a record of 80% placement rate with an average package of 3 lakhs. Somehow I think that data is to be based on facts by the students rather than the college claims. From my knowledge most of the passout students with a 7.5-8.0 and above CGPA got their placements from the college. In good companies such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Deloitte, Techno India Group and many reputed places.
