- The teacher - student relationship is very informal outside the classroom which helps to boost better communication with them.
- The teachers are highly qualified which makes it easier to learn from them as they also have industry experience
- The environment of the college is very professional where our grooming and everything is to be maintained. It helps to develop corporate habits
Dislikes
- The campus is very small and there is no proper sports or other facilities provided by the college.
- The students sometimes breach the student conduct and do a lot of things behind the back of the teacher.
- Some teacher especially for BBA tend to change per semester which makes it very hard for us students to create a better learning experience
Remarks :
Any student who has scored 50+ aggregate in English and other relevant subjects are eligible to take BBA be it of any stream. The details of the college admission is out in the college website but you can come physical to get the details as well. The college admission officers will offer a warm welcome to those who come. The SC/ST/OBC students are given certain scholarship or discount from their total fees mainly 10-15%. The college also gives an option of Student Credit Card where you can take loan from the college itself in a very low interest rate. The admission fees 75000 which they took at the time of admission should be considered as it is a very huge amount I beleive that area should be considered by the faculty
Course Curriculum Overview :
I wanted to become an entrepreneur and that is why I opted for Business Administration Degree. Therefore to become an entrepreneur I need to have understanding of all aspects of business thus I opted for this degree. As we are having a 4 year degree program the college will provide training and internship programs accordingly in the 2nd and 3rd year. The college curriculum also intends to conduct seminars and business program relevantly and also calls out big names from the industry that shares their experiences which helps us to have a concept. I beleive that the students of BBA especially should be given more responsibilities and events to conduct in college as it will be a good practice for us. The exam timings are perfect as it is set by the University and the college cannot do anything to change it's timing.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for our college and my course BBA is 240000 after getting Discount from scholarship ( basically a test which I had to take at the time of admission) helped me get 5-10% discount. The annual fees is 60000 per year and we had to give 75000 at time of admission as admission fees that included development fee, admission fee.
Campus Life :
Our college compromises mostly of Bengali Teachers and follows certain Bengali Culture and Tradition. The main festivals are Durga Puja and Diwali mostly takes place in the month of late October and early November. The library comprises of mostly al valuable books and journals which we need for further insighs. They also have books from Oxford Business School and other. The librarian is also very communicateable and allows us to go through all the books whichever we want in the regarded time. The classroom are all comprising of projectors and white boards which adds benefits to studying. Unfortunately there is no overview of outdoor sports but they do have caroom board and badminton. There are three clubs in the college Event Management, Photography and Sports Club ( mainly dance and sometimes football once in a month)
Faculty :
The teachers of our department are qualified enough to facilitate the students. The course co-ordinator is Dr.Sweta Patnaik PHD in management she also has written an international journal. She is our class advisor. Other teachers are also having relevant qualifications and they also have industry skills which helps us to gain outer knowledge from them. The student teacher ratio is 1-14 and it gets quite easier to understand concepts while we are having less number of students

Placement Experience :
The average placement package of the college or BBA degree is 2.4LPA - 4LPA depends on the different roles and interview we sit for. Last year around 90-95% students got placed in various companies and business firms. from this year (2024) kalimpong college department of bba has started the internship facilities....in many company's and banks like SBI life tds company. post offices and etc students are eligible for the internship in last year of the course they have to clear all their backlogs before going for internship programme! after getting the degree I would like to give competative exams for banking ( po post )

Placement Experience :
The placement of this college is very good. I got the opportunity to work with Haayat regency due to this college. Many students got placed in 5 star hotels. The faculty members teaches and prepare us in such a manner that we are bound to get placement

Inspiria college offers various courses for management as well bca and etc hotel management students get 100 percent placement and other courses students are helped to get placement but it depends on there communication skills

With an overview.. i know that our college provides many job facilities to the students.. as i know a year ago..SET exam was held inside our college only which helped many of our seniors to get the jod they are seeking for and to.. and my plan is also to give some exams and go for job.
