Remarks :
i took admission through jee mains you can find all those application dees ,form ,dates in jpsaa or csab or jee advanced official webste personally i got no such benifit from my ews reservation but i could get help if applied to other more top college difficulty is moderate to tough cant expect easy
Course Curriculum Overview :
actually the course curriculam is boring in 1st year as i havejust completed it we didnt have proper resoources and always what is the use of phy and chem for compurer science student to learn ... the projects and clubs are inactive mostly here ... they just teach dsa in c which no companuy wants to intake ..
Internships Opportunities :
i personally belong to cse so i will discuss about tech comopanis which include deshaw and googlw and microsoft and sometimes accenture the cgpa cuttoff is expected to be atlest 8 cgpa and google accepts just for 9+ cgpa
Placement Experience :
fir internships one can eligible after 3rd ssem and companies start recuirting april in 3nd year and about placenents it starts in late 3rd year to 4th year google oracle deeshaw erc almost in cse are placed
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
i personally have income less than 1 lakh so i have a 100% fee wavier in college fees so for people who have income more than a lakh but below 5 lakh have to 33% clg fees and no remession of fee for people with 5lakh + income in case of hostel i payed 88000 in 1st year and fom 2nd year its about 67k for an year...
Campus Life :
we have dg and ig ...dg(department gathering) in swinter season which celebrated for 3 days and ig(institute gathering) is in summer season which is for 10days books we want are mostly not available in library and those we want in library are available in less quantity
Hostel Facilities :
nice and spacious hostels are available in 1st year but its double seater and its size is like hall of house approx 200 sqm meal is tassty initially but as the time goes itsn taste goes bad and bad...
Faculty :
in the class of 126 members they are made to divide these bulk to 2 sections which made that batch 1 get experienced teachers and they will score good marks too but batch 2 members get newly joined teachers and most of them are so strict that they refuse to give marks ...

The overall ratioof placemnet can be considerd good.Most of the big placements 20+ are offcampus.Companies do visit but just a good cgpa wont gaurantee a job, the resume needs to be strong. There is cutoff applied for students on basis of cgpa.

I choose Metallurgy and materials engineering because It is good in VNIT nagpur being an old college it has also good exposure and placement is also Some how good. If I talk about my college student ratio is like other engineering colleges and in my class also there is 1 girl per 7 boys . Talking about the faculty of my college , they are very good and nice. Some Professor recently in world's top 2% scientist. There have two exam in a semester that is mid sem and end sem.
