VIIT Pune is a better option compared to DY Patil. It is an autonomous college and offers better academics. It has a decent faculty base. Most of the faculty members are friendly and cooperative. VIIT organizes many technical events such as Robocon, Supra, etc. It has a better placement record compared to DY Patil. VIT Pune placements 2022 had witnessed an average CTC of INR 6.5 LPA. Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Technology, established in 1998, is a private institute affiliated to SPPU, Pune and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi. DYPIT is the oldest campus of Dr. D.Y.
