Eligibility is: 12th passed(with65% or more); CET OR JEE-MAINS I took addmissions from the cap rounds. the exams are held twice in a semester and form second year practical and oral exams are also held the application forms are only available when wwe take addmission through cap rounds
Being an autonoumous college , the college decieds its curriculum according to the national education policy,most of the syllabus aligns with the intrest of the companies. the difficulty of the exams are hard but not extreme. the college aims to give ready engineers to the companies. There is always room for improvement but the current level of teaching is very good
80 to90 percent students get campus placements . campus placements are available at the final semester average package is of 3.5 lacs the college has a special training and placement unit to help students get on and off campus placement with ease major companies like nvidia have visited the college
The college fees for general male is 148000. If under any caste the scholarships are avalible . there was a recent hike in fees of 6300. The scholarships from reliance foundation is also accepted in college
There is a annual cultural fest called MAFFIC which lasts 3 to 4 days. There is a technical fair every year and a seperate technical and not technical event branch wise. The central library has 3 floors with many study materials and research journals. the sports departmen is very well equiped.
The faculty are the soul of the college they are easy to approach and friendly. for theory lectures 1 teacher teaches 70 students, for practicals 1 teacher teaches 20 to 24 students. Most of the faculty have completed post graduation, the HODs have PhDs.
students are eligible for placements from 3-4 semester if they can meet the placement requirements. companies like telstra, tcs, l&t,accenture,etc have visited the college for placements. the highest package offered was 10 lpa this year. and the average package offered was 4lpa.80-90% students are placed from my department. if no placement is offered, off campus recruitement is also an option
The only bad experience regarding anything was that alot of students had problem with the Faculty for C programming language. The C programming faculty was not very cooperative and every student has reported that they were able to learn C language that good

In my college there only one course for btech computer science and engineering that's why here there is no other course for choice you have to choice only this course Also much better than other colleges
Placements at IIT Bombay are really good because of the reputation of college in Industries and strong connections. Students are elgible to sit in campus placements in their last year i.e, 4th year and should not have any back in any course. Around 400 companies visit IIT Bombay for recruitment process with total of around 1700 placement offers in phase 1. Companies like Quadeye, Apple, McKinsey, Jane street, amazon, microsoft, Google, P&G, TATA, Jaguar, Morgan stanly, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting group, etc. Average package offered is around 23.26 LPA, highest package being INR 3.67 CPA. Placements are offered invarious profiles like IT, core research and engineering, finance, consulting, marketing, product management, etc. Approximately, around 80% of students got placed. My plan after graduation is to get placed in management, business, or finance sector.
