- Their is need to little bit improvement in industry-oriented faculty in certain departments .
- One problem for canteen there is no space for students if all departments break at same time .
- Overall , Thakur College of Engineering and Technology is considered a good option for engineering aspirants in Mumbai .
Remarks :
Addmission process is based on MHT-CET and JEE results . After result released students have to filled college list on the website of mhtcet cell . On the basis of result students allotment is done . After go to college and give allotment letter of mhtcet cell after that addmission is confrimed and then paid the fees of college .Their is reservation benefits for OPEN with EWS certificate they have benefits with scholarship . For OBC category they have to paid half fees and also benefit of scholrship etc .
Course Curriculum Overview :

Internships Opportunities :
College provide internship to students from first year but these are small foundation but from second year campanies came to college . As i do internships in first year they give daily task in one day after that they take meeting and solve the problems.
Placement Experience :

A wide range of companies visit the campus for placements incuding IT gaints like TCS , Infosys , Wipro , and HCl , Google , BSE , as well as campanies like L&T , TATA Motors , and Reliance industries . The highest package offered range from 18- 30 lakhs per annum , while the average package is around 5-7 lahs per annum . The exacy figures can vary depending on the company , profile , and students performance
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
College fees for general category is 160000 per year and for OBC category fees is 95435 per year . As government scholarships provide to students for OPEN , OBC category for it called as EWS for this income less than 500000 per year then students is eligible for scholarships . They have to submit income certificate and caste certificates , caste validity etc to proof of category . Asignificant percentage of students secure placements through on-campus drives . The college often emphasizes skill development through workshops , training programs , and industry interactions to emhance employability
Campus Life :
Tcet has vibrant campus life with strong emphais on academics , extracurricular activities , and students development . The college has number os students clubs and organization , inculding technical , cultural and sports clubs . There are also numbers os student-run initiatives , such as the student council and the college magazine . TCET has well-developed infrastructure , inculding modern classrooms , well-equipped laboratries , library , computer , and hostel . TCET is a good college with strong academic focus and vibrant campus life . The college provides students with good learning environment and ample opportunities for personal and professional development .
Faculty :
Faculty members are commended for their ability to explain complex concepts clearly , usinng practical examples and real world applications . Faculty are apperciable for willingeness to help student , clarify doubts , provide quidance for careers and subjects realted problems . Faculty membaers with industry experience often bring real-world prespectives into curriculum , making learning more revelant . TCET faculty is often described as supportive of students research projects and innovative ideas .

Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is different from the one followed by SPPU , some subjects you'll find useless . Rest is similar to what other colleges have . There'll be a sports slot for only the first years though . Later you have more core subjects.
Does IIT Bombay tag really matter??

The placements here at IIT Bombay are very very good. If a student has really done good or just put some efforts on skill development, he definitely gets placed and in a very good amount. A large number of companies visit for placements like Tata, L&T, Google, Apple, Microsoft, Uber, SONY, Samsung, Mahindra, Reliance, Qualcomm, Bajaj, Jaguar, Loreal, JSW, Hitachi, Mercedes, Havells,P&G, ITC, HUL, ONGC, HP, BYJUS, etc. This year around 1753 offers were made, out of which 1438 were accepted by the students in phase-1. All the information is available on IITB website. The highest package was around INR 4.23 CPA (in quant sector) and an average package of around INR 21.26 LPA. Around 82.1% of students were placed this year. Some students didn't sit for placements because they want to study further in foreign universities, or doing MBA further, or UPSC, etc.

Campus placement are one of the best in India Our cs average is more then 50 lakhs the average package is almost 23 lacs per annum. Most of the students get placed during the placement. Almost 50 people get PPO.
Is IIT Bombay a Myth??

Large number of companies come for placements. More than 80% of students gets placed in the phase 1. Average package is around 21.26 LPA INR. Large companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Jane Street, Procter and gamble Jaguar, Microsoft, Google, etc comes for the placement. The highest package was around INR 4.2 CPA. And average package is around 21.26LPA. In the phase 1, around 1700 Placement offers were made and out of which 1450 offers were Accepted by the students. Around 82.1% of students gets placed in phase 1. My plan after getting the degree is to take a job and settle down.
The View on my college
Placement Experience :
We are in the top engineering college of India so ofcourse placements are good here. Placements starts from the end of the 4th year of college . Companies like apple, Microsoft ,croma ,nvidia big companies like this visit every year. Highest package was 4Cr. Last year and avg package was approx 32 LPA. 82.13 percent got placements last year.Will start a startup.
