XLRI, the dream destination for many, might seem difficult to crack, especially if you haven't had a perfect academic record. But here's the exciting part – XLRI examines every aspects of applicants. XAT cutoff is the only criteria for GD and PI calls. I would advise you to search for more business schools. If you have any other abilities or accomplishments, such as in athletics or any other extracurricular activity, you may still be able to get into XLRI despite having a poor academic score. You still have time to apply to XLRI.
For admission XLRI looks at the overall profile of students and not just on the academic record or XAT percentile. If you have done exceptionally well in other avenues of life, such as if have excellent extracurricular, or notable achievements in sports, then you can get shortlisted.
Since your academic record is poor, try to be in the top 5% in XAT, to maximize your chance to get shortlisted.
Your admission to XLRI is very unlikely based on your academic score. As every year some of the top scorers across India apply for admissions in XLRI. Also, work experience is one of the basic eligibility criteria to take admission in XLRI.

I would suggest you lookout for some other Business Schools. It is not impossible to get into XLRI with a low academic score if you have any other skills or achievements like sports or any other extra-curricular activity. You can still apply to XLRI.
