Can we use last year's GATE score for NITIE Mumbai 3 PGD courses?
Posted On - Aug 11, 2021Yes, you can use last year’s GATE score for getting admission in 3 PGD courses at NITIE Mumbai. Your GATE score will be valid for the next 3 years. So, you can apply for NITIE, within that period, with the same GATE score. You won’t have to take GATE again within the next 3 years.
A few of my friends graduated from NITIE and so I know a little bit about the admission process at the institute. Yes, you can join NITIE from last year’s GATE examination score if you have a good score and fulfill the eligibility criteria.
Last year's GATE examination score is valid for all three programs offered at NITIE. As per the instructions issued by the institute, the applicant who has qualified GATE for 2019/2020/2021, with 60% aggregate marks (relaxable by 5% in case of SC/ ST/ PwD) at graduation in Engineering/ Technology can apply.
Currently, the GATE examination score is valid for 3 years from the date of appearance in the exam.
