National University of Law, Hyderabad 

This law college is ranked fourth in the list of premier law colleges in the country. NUL takes almost 120 students for the undergraduate law course program based on their performance in the CLAT exam. The university offers 100% placement with salary packages starting from INR 4.5-9 LPA. Companies like Tata Group is one of the recruiters that hires various law graduates.

WB National University of juridical sciences, Kolkata

This law university offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses for a duration of five years and charges INR 10.8 lakhs as fees. The admission is granted based on the candidates’ performance in the CLAT exam, it offers 100% placements to the students. Companies like Balmer Lawrie, SREI & Infosys offer six digit figure salaries to the qualifying graduates.

National Law University, Jodhpur

This university offers a five-year full-time integrated Honours course in law and the admission is granted based on the CLAT score. The university offers more than 85% placements to all the deserving graduates.

National Law University, New Delhi 

Established in 2008, NLU is a renowned government-run professional institution that holds the second position in the list of top-ranking colleges according to the 2018 updates. The university offers admission to 80 students for its UG course and charges INR 8 lakhs as fees for the five-year course. The university offers 100% placements.


CLAT Eligibility Criteria

To appear in CLAT 2020, the candidates must meet the below-mentioned eligibility criteria for UG and PG courses.

For UG Programs 

  • The candidate must qualify in 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 45% marks (in case belonging to Unreserved/OBC/SAP categories) and 40% marks (in case of SC/ST category).
  • Appearing candidates of Class 10+2 or equivalent examination are also allowed to give the entrance exam. However, at the time of admission, the candidates must show evidence of their passing qualifying examination.
  • There is no upper age limit to appear in CLAT 2020

For PG Programmes

  • Candidates must have cleared the LL.B or equivalent degree with at least 55% marks (Unreserved/OBC/SAP categories) and 50% marks (for the candidates belonging to SC/ST category).
  • The candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also allowed to take the CLAT test.
  • The candidates need to produce evidence of their qualifying examination at the time of admission.
  • There is no upper age limit to give the entrance exam for PG courses.
