CLAT 2023 Application Form: Steps to Apply

Given below is the step-by-step process to fill in CLAT 2023 Application Form:

Step 1: CLAT Registration

• To register, candidates must first visit the official website of CLAT- consortiumofnlus.ac.in
• After that, candidates must click on the "Register" tab and fill in detailed information such as name, mobile phone number, email address, and password. After filling in the details, the applicant should click the "Register" button.

Step 2: Fill in CLAT Application Form

• After registration, candidates will be required to login using their Mobile Number and Password.

• Candidates need to provide personal information, academic details, valid communication details, and other required information.
• Candidates must select the course they aspire to pursue.
• After selecting the course, candidates must select their preferred CLAT Exam Centre. CLAT 2023 will be conducted in 82 exam centers. Based on the order of preference, candidates can select upto 3 exam centers

Step 3: Upload Documents

• As the next step in the registration process, candidates must upload the required files in the prescribed format and size as part of the registration process.

Documents Required for CLAT 2023 Application Form

Candidates should ensure that the following documents are handy before submission of CLAT 2023 Application Form:

• Email Id and Phone Number
• Scanned Photograph
• Scanned Signature
• Category Certificate
• Class 10th mark sheet
• Class 12th mark sheet
• ID Proof- Aadhar Card/ Driving License/ PAN Card
• Relevant Certificate issued by a competent authority (PwD or BPL Certificate)

Step 4: Pay CLAT Application Fees

• CLAT Application Fees can only be paid online at the admissions portal.
• Candidates can use (debit card/credit card/Internet banking) to pay the application fee in online mode.
• Candidates must bear the bank's transaction fees to pay the online application fee. After candidates choose the payment method, the payment gateway page will display the actual bank charges.
• After candidates have successfully paid the application fee, their CLAT exam application process is complete and they will receive a confirmation email\/message containing the registered email ID and mobile phone number.

CLAT 2023 Application Fees

CLAT Application Fees can only be paid in online mode. Candidates should ensure that the application form is correct in all respects as application fees is non-refundable and non-adjustable.

CLAT 2023 Application Form Correction

CLAT 2023 Form Correction window is open till November 20, 2022. However, candidates are allowed to edit a few details only in their application forms. CLAT 2023 Form correction facility will be provided to those candidates who will register for the exam and pay the online examination fee.

The candidates must note that they might have to pay any additional fee while making the edits in their forms. The steps for CLAT Form Correction are as follows:

• Visit the official website of The Consortium of NLUs- consortiumofnlus.ac.in
• Click on the application correction link
• Login using mobile number and password.
• Click on Edit Application Form
• After making the required changes, click on “Next”
• Once candidates are sure of the changes, click on the declaration checkbox
• Click on Save

How to Recover CLAT Login Password?

If candidates forget the password required to log in to their registered account, they can retrieve it by following the steps below:

• Candidates must visit the official website of CLAT Consortium
• They must then cliсk on the "I fоrgоt my раsswоrd" link in the lоgin windоw.
• Enter the registered mobile phone number and click "Apply for a one-time password" Enter the one-time password (OTP) received on the phone.
• Create a new password and continue to login into your account.

CLAT 2023 Registration: Important Tips to Remember

• Hard copies of the completed application form will not be sent to the CLAT Consortium office.
• It is not mandatory to complete CLAT Application process at the same time. Candidates are allowed to save their CLAT application form and come pick it up at any time. The system will automatically display the page where the candidate should continue.
• Candidates must spell their parent's and parents' names correctly, as stated on the certificate, mark sheet, and identification proof.
• Any changes in the names of candidates or their parents may disqualify candidates.
• Candidates must ensure that all the information they provide on the application form is correct and true.
• After the declaration of result, candidates can select one preference from the 22 NLUs.
