CMAT is a national level MBA entrance test conducted by NTA for admission to MBA and PGDM programs in some of the premier B -schools and management colleges in the country. CMAT 2020 has scheduled to be conducted on January 28, 2020. The exam will be conducted in online mode and has 100 multiple choice questions divided equally among all the 4 sections. CMAT 2020 comprises of 4 sections namely Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, and General Awareness. Verbal Ability section is often considered to be relatively easier as compared to few other sections. CMAT Verbal Ability Preparation Tips

Preparing for the CMAT Verbal Ability section would be quite easy if candidates follow some of the basic preparation tips and strategies. It is very important for the candidates to read English newspapers, books, magazines to improve their command over English and vocabulary.

  1. Read grammar books and practice sample questions regularly. You can note down all the new words you learn while reading with their meanings and keep going through it repeatedly.
  2. Also, keep looking for the antonyms and synonyms of the new words you find.
  3. To crack this section, candidates are advised to start with the questions of previous years Tests, spellings, antonyms, and synonyms and then move to fill in the blanks questions as these topics are less time consuming and relatively easier.
  4. It will be wise to read the questions asked in the reading comprehension first and then move on to the passage, this way it will be easier to find answers and would take less time.
