CMAT 2022 Question Paper Analysis

CMAT 2022 Question Paper had 5 mandatory sections for the first time. Each section comprised 20 MCQs. The total time given to attempt 100 MCQs was 180 minutes (3 hours). Each question carried 4 marks, i.e. the paper was for a total of 400 marks, and one mark was deducted for every wrong answer..It was essential to attempt the questions strategically as there was a negative marking to the extent of 25%. Students found CMAT 2022 Quantitative Technique and Data Interpretation section fairly easy to solve. The majority of the questions were asked from Arithmetic, Geometry, Modern Maths, and Data Interpretation. The details of the above section are tabulated below:

CMAT 2022 Logical Reasoning Analysis

The question of logical reasoning section was direct, comprehensive, and easy to solve. It was reported that out of the 20 questions in this section, 15 were on Non-Verbal Reasoning and 5 questions were on Verbal Reasoning. The details of the above section are tabulated below:

CMAT 2022 Language Comprehension Analysis

Students reported CMAT 2022 Language Comprehension section moderately easy due to lengthy comprehension questions that required a lot of time. There were 5 comprehension-based questions and 15 direct questions. The details of the above section are tabulated below:

Students reported CMAT 2022 General Awareness section moderately difficult. Most of the Current affairs questions were on Sports, history, books, constitution, authors, awards, physics, geography, etc. The details of the above section are tabulated below:

CMAT 2022 Innovation & Entrepreneurship Analysis

This section was reported to be the most difficult. Being a new section, the section has no clearly defined syllabus as a result students found it difficult to answer most of the questions. Most of the questions were on business, economics, management, and government schemes
