CMAT 2021 Registration portal will be opened soon by NTA; the conducting body of this exam. CMAT is conducted to facilitate institutions and colleges approved by NTA to select students for admission in their management program. It is an online test scheduled for Jan 24, 2021 in 245 CMAT Exam Centers
While registering for CMAT, a candidate may face certain glitches such as irregular internet connection which must be avoided at any cost. The following article explains the registration process for CMAT and what are the issues or glitches one may face while registering for CMAT.
CMAT 2021 Registration can be completed in 3 simple steps. Last day to complete the CMAT Registration process is Dec 20, 2020, and the last date to make an online payment is December final week, 2020 (Tentative). Candidates who will meet the CMAT Eligibility criteria can apply for the exam. The eligibility criteria for CMAT broadly covers the following points:
CMAT Registration Fee and application fee for General/OBC category candidates is INR 1600 and for SC/ST/PD and all Girl candidates is INR 1000.
CMAT 2021 Registration can be completed in 3 simple steps. Start with registration, the second step is to fill up the CMAT 2021 Application form and the third step is to make payment.

After successful registration the next step is to fill application form you will need to fill the remaining parts of the form such as Academic details. It is suggested that you once verify the details filled in the application form by clicking on VERIFY button. In case there are some discrepancies you can modify your data of CMAT Registration by clicking on VERIFY button. Candidates can print and keep a copy of Application form for their future reference.
Step 3 : Make Payment
A candidate can pay the CMAT Application fees either online through Netbanking/Credit Card/Debit Card or can deposit cash payment in any branch of State Bank of India through challan generated online. Fees once submitted will not be refunded under any circumstances. Details process of fee payment is given below in this article.

Payment of CMAT 2021 Application fee can be done in two ways:
Online Payment - Candidates can select for ONLINE PAYMENT and then make their payment using Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking. Once a candidates’ payment is successfully done. They will receive the confirmation email and SMS and they can proceed to the Step 3 of the CMAT 2021 Registration.
The last date to submit the fee online and complete the registration process for CMAT 2021 Exam is final week of December, 2020 .
Cash Payment - Candidates can select for PAY BY CASH and make payment only at any designated branch of SBI. This option is only available to candidates living in INDIA and wishes to appear for the test in India.
After selecting this option and a challan will be generated. Candidates will see a Challan with their details already filled. Candidate needs to take 3 print outs of this challan and fill in the details of the bank in all three copies, and go to the nearest SBI branch and make the payment by cash. Cash deposit will be accepted from the next day after the Challan generation. Bank will also charge INR 40 as bank charge in addition to the registration fee.
Candidates should note that they must deposit cash at least 2 days before the closing of CMAT registration as it takes 48 hours to update the payment on the registration portal. The bank will give back one copy of the challan with their stamp and journal number, candidates should also ensure that the Journal number mentioned in the challan returned by the bank is clearly visible before leaving the bank.
After 48 hours of making the cash payment, the candidate will receive the confirmation email and SMS that the payment has been updated on your registration portal. The last date to deposit CASH in the bank is the final week of December, 2020 and to complete registration is December 20, 2020.
Candidates should also NOTE that the fee once paid either online or through cash will not be refunded under any circumstances.
