Designed to develop student?s musical craft and creativity in performance, theoritical studies and applied uses of music. The Bachelor of Performing Arts (Music) focuses on four main streams of study-performance, composition, ethnomusicology and music education which are interwoven into members include musicologist, professionals performers and educators.
At the end of Bachelor Performing Arts (Music), graduates are able to:
- Master overall aspects of the performing arts and a variety of topics relating to art or music whether traditional or modern music.
- Produce and perform musical arts for the development of creative industries in national and international level.
- Provide balanced guidance in term of practical and theoretical development, to preserve music heritage through the study of ethnomuzikology and create awareness among the society in relation to the importance of music appreciation through music education, performance and research writing.
- Present attitude of professionalism, in dealing with the production management, and hosting events specially related to the arts.
- Communicate as a leader and worker among the organizations consist of the different background and cultures. Lead in music and cultural organizations.
