Students are introduced to the current technologies, skills and the best practices of the industry at the early stage and will apply them in the form of assignments and final year projects. These include Building Information Modelling, surveying, value engineering, project management and contract administration.?

During the course of programme, students are brought to site visits for industry exposure. Industry speakers also routinely visit the campus to present talks to the students on various issues. The students activities are well supported by the programme-based "Built Environment Society" which annually organises "Green Card" seminars, a safety and health certification by CIDB (Construction Industry Development Board). This prepares them for their Industrial training stint.
