Our first intake of student was in July 2007 and graduated in August 2012. We have produced good dental undergraduates who have an excellence knowledge and reputable skills with a high standard of professional ethics which are in line with IIUM vision, i.e. to restore the roles of Muslims in education, knowledge creation and acquisition as well as to contribute to the improvement of quality of life for all mankind.
Program Outcome
- Possess scientific knowledge to support the practice of dentistry (Cognitive).
- Demonstrate clinical skills to practice dentistry independently (Psychomotor).
- Demonstrate teamwork skills in managing oral health care for individuals and community (Psychomotor & Affective).
- Display ethical values and professionalism in practicing dentistry within the confines of the laws governing the profession (Psychomotor & Affective).
- Communicate effectively with peers in the dental and other health professions, patients and community (Psychomotor & Affective).
