Weightage of the General english section in SNAP is lowest among all the sections.
General English consists of approximately 15 questions in SNAP.
General English section of SNAP mainly consists of Verbal reasoning and Verbal Ability. This section is not very difficult but requires a lot of practise and time management skills for any candidate to score well in this section.
General English section of SNAP consists of: tenses, clauses, articles, sentence completion, analogies, active and passive voice, sentence correction, synonyms and antonyms, one word substitution, jump paragraph, contextual usage, Odd one out, fill in the blanks, Idioms and Syllogisms, vocabulary and comprehension.

Time-management: Certain questions and comprehension is time consuming; therefore candidates should practise as much as possible to complete the section as soon as possible.
Precision while answering: Questions related to vocabulary should only be attempted if the candidate is sure about them because every wrong answer will result in a 0.25 negative mark.
