SNAP Exam Analysis 2022 (Out): Check Section-wise Difficulty Level and Previous Year Trends

    SNAP Exam Analysis 2022 for Test 1 and 2 is updated here. SNAP 2022 Test 2 has been conducted on Dec 18 while Test 1 was conducted on December 10, 2022. SNAP 2022 question paper had 60 questions to be answered in 60 minutes. The overall difficulty level of SNAP 2022 Test 2 and Test 1 was similar to last year’s paper. SNAP 2022 Test 3 will be conducted on December 23, 2022.     SNAP 2022 Exam Pattern

    • All questions will be objective type(MCQ). 
    • There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks per wrong answer. 
    • The exam duration is of 1 hour(60 minutes) 
    • Previously SNAP exam had the Current Affairs Section which has been scrapped permanently as of now.

    SNAP 2021 Exam Analysis

    The overall difficulty was reported to be easy to moderate. There were 60 questions in total and the candidates were required to answer all the questions in 60 minutes. Student’s also reported the overall difficulty level to be easier than last year.

    Key Highlights of SNAP Jan 9 General English:

    • As expected, there were no questions from RC similar to the previous slots.
    • A well prepared student could have solved this section in just 10 minutes, allowing them enough time for calculative questions.
    • Few grammar questions were unexpected such as the ones on correct usage of conjunction or change in voice.
    • Other general grammar questions such as idioms, phrases, synonyms and antonyms.
    • A good score woud be 9+ in this section.

    • There were 6 verbal and 19 non verbal questions from this section.
    • Non verbal questions were mostly from series and puzzles.
    • The 2 set based questions were not consecutively placed.
    • Apart from 1 calculation based series question, rest were not very hard to solve.
    • A goos attempt in the LR section would be 22+ questions with an accuracy of about 17.

    Key highlights of SNAP 2020 VARC Analysis:

    • This year, for the first time, there were no questions from the Reading comprehension sections. Candidates appearing for the 2nd or 3rd set of SNAP can therefore prepare accordingly.
    • Due to the absence of RC, this section was easier to solve and all questions could have been attempted in about 10 minutes.
    • Some questions were quite unexpected, such as the ones based on definition like what is a collective noun or compound word, and so on.

    SNAP 2019 was conducted on December 15, 2019 in the 87 different centers of Symbiosis International. The major difference in SNAP 2020 and SNAP 2019 and preceding papers was that the General Awareness Section was scrapped for the year 2020.

    • The vocabulary section of general english was complex.
