SNAP Reservation 2022: To grant the opportunity for equal participation of students in the Institutes of management, there are certain SNAP reservation policies. These reservation policies aimed at providing seats reservation to SC & ST candidates, DAC, Defence Personnel, Kashmiri Migrants, and international applicants.

The reservation policy of the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies is different from various other institutes. The reservation policy aims at granting discrimination free opportunities to all the students to take the admission in the institute. Below mentioned is the percentage of reservation offered to the students belonging to different categories.

As per the guidelines by the Ministry of Social Justice and Development and University Grants Commission and the Government of India, there is some percentage of reserved seats for the differently abled students as well in SIU. The types of disabilities covered under the differently abled category in SNAP 2022 test are as followed -
The above given list is the prime criteria for taking admission under differently abled category. This list would entitle to the provisionary admission for the candidates. Thereafter, the students are required to gain the authentication certificate from the Symbiosis Center of Health Care (SCHC). As per the conditions for gaining the certificate, the candidates are required to have it within one month of the commencement of the session.

The Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC) will verify the documents as per the specified disability. It will also cross – check the presence and extent of the disability. Therefore, it is necessary to have the consultation along with the certificate from the SCHC for every students who avail for admission under this category.
