PU CET 2025 PATTERN & SYLLABUS
NATIONAL LEVEL OFFLINE TEST
PU CET UG 2023 is going to be conducted on Apri 23, 2023. As per PUCET 2023 Exam Pattern the exam will be conducted in offline mode. The question paper will consist of six subjects namely, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, Biology, Biotechnology, and Computer Science.
PUCET 2023 will be conducted in offline mode. The number of papers will be depended on the combination of subjects selected by the candidates. The time allotted per subject is 70 minutes. The total duration of examination varies from candidate to candidate on the selection of subjects. The nature of questions will be multiple-choice questions for all the subjects.

PUCET 2023 is conducted by Punjab University, Chandigarh. The medium of language for answering is English. Candidates are required to qualify the entrance test in order to take admission for various Degree courses in Punjab University.

Candidates should thoroughly study the 10+1 and 10+2 syllabus of Science as per the conducting board. No additional syllabus is required or prescribed by the conducting body.
If a candidate chooses PCM, he/she has to calculate the total of selected subjects. Here is Subject wise weightage:

The nature of questions asked in PU CET are multiple-choice questions. Candidates should mark/fill only one choice of the given four choices. Each question carries 2 marks making the maximum total of 120 marks.
The total number of questions asked in each subject question paper are 60.
The evaluation scheme employs negative marking scheme. For every incorrect response, 0.5 or 25% of marks will be deducted out of the total answered responses. No marks will be allotted or deducted for unanswered questions.

PUCET 2023 will consist of questions from the 10+1 and 10+2 syllabus of Punjab University. The subjects from Science stream that will be covered are Physics, Chemistry, Biology and/or Mathematics. Candidates can choose subjects according to the course chosen by them.
