NIFT 2023 Result (Out): Merit List, Counselling, Cut Off and Selection Process
NIFT 2023 Final Merit List will be released by NIFT on the official website- nift.ac.in. Candidates can check final merit list by entering their Roll number, Date of Birth and Application Number. Candidates whose name appears in the final merit list are eligible to register for NIFT 2023 Counselling for UG as well as PG programs. Counseling for eligible candidates has commenced on May 20, 2023. NIFT Counselling will be conducted in multiple rounds on 16 different campuses of NIFT.

NIFT Admission Authority has released NIFT 2023 Answer Key for GAT, Candidates are now able to access their responses and raise objections in the answer key till February 24, 2023.
- Candidates will have to login into their account to access and raise objections in the response sheet.
- For each response, candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs 500.
- Based on the objections received final NIFT 2023 answer key will be prepared.
- NIFT 2023 Written results will be based on the final answer key.

How to Check NIFT Result 2023?
NIFT result mentions subject-wise scores obtained by candidates in CAT and GAT. Candidates qualifying GAT and CAT for the B. Design program will be called for Situation Test and GD/PI. Final Result and Merit List will be prepared after taking all the scores into consideration. Candidates can check their results by following the steps mentioned below.
- Go to the official website of NIFT, i.e. nift.ac.in.
- Click on “NIFT 2023 Results”.
- The following screen appears after clicking on NIFT 2023 Result Link
- Enter NIFT Roll number, Date of Birth, and Application number.
- Click on the Proceed/log in button.
- The result will be displayed on your screen, verify all the details present in it.
- Take the printout for future purposes.
NIFT Scorecard Details

NIFT 2023 Scorecard is one of the most important documents for NIFT aspirants. They will be asked to produce NIFT Admit Card 2023 and NIFT Scorecard at the time of counseling. NIFT Scorecard will comprise the following information:
- Name of the candidate
- Roll Number
- Application Number
- Date of Birth
- Photograph of the candidate
- Subject-wise scores obtained in CAT and GAT
- The score obtained in Situation Test
- Total Marks scored
- Rank (if qualified)

NIFT Scope
What After NIFT Result 2023?
- After taking into consideration the scores, the final NIFT 2023 result and merit list will be prepared.
- This will be published online mode in the month of May/June 2023.
- Admissions across NIFTs will be done on the basis of scores obtained by the test-takers in CAT, GAT, group discussion, situation test, and personal interview rounds.
- The cutoff will be declared by the National Institute of Fashion Technology which is the section and campus-wise closing rank.
- It will depend on various factors such as the total number of candidates appearing in NIFT 2023 total candidates who cleared it, the difficulty level of question paper, total seats for B. Design, and B. F. Tech programs.
- National Institute of Fashion Technology's entrance examination will offer as many as 2010 seats of B. Design and 360 seats of B.F.Tech program across 16 NIFT Campuses that are located in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Kannur, Hyderabad, Gandhinagar, Bengaluru, Raebareli, Shillong, Patna, Kangra, Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar, Srinagar, Chennai and Bhopal.

NIFT 2023 Cut Off
NIFT 2023 Cut Off is the closing rank set by NIFT Participating Institutes and the same will vary across NIFT campuses. Cut Off will be calculated on the basis of availability of seats, the difficulty level of the exam, the total number of students appearing in the exam, etc. The cut-off for NIFT 2023 will be released institute as well as section-wise. A candidate must secure minimum marks to seek admission to their desired college. Candidates qualifying the minimum marks criteria mentioned in NIFT Cut Off will be called for the counseling procedure. The final allotment of campuses as per Common Merit Rank (CMR), however, may vary from year to year depending on a candidate’s preference.
