Selection of NEET PG 2023 Exam Center

NEET PG 2023 Exam Day Guidelines
Reporting time refers to the time at which the candidate reaches the Reporting counter at the test center. A candidate who fails to report by the stipulated time as indicated on the admit card shall not be allowed to enter the examination premises.
- Social Distanced - Computer Based Test (SD-CBT) – NEET PG 2023 will be conducted in a safe and secure environment maintaining social distancing norms.
- Barcode/QR Code Reader at Entry Points – The invigilator will be standing across the table with a barcode/QR code reader. Candidate will have to produce his/her admit card for entry.
- Use of Thermo Guns: Candidates will be checked at the entry point for fever with the thermo guns. If the temperature of a candidate is higher than normal then he/she has to take the examination in a separate room.
- Candidate should arrive at the Reporting counter at least two hours before the commencement of the exam i.e. 01:30 PM.
- This allows for security checks, identity verification, image capture, biometric capture, etc. The reporting counter will close 30 minutes prior to the exam start time.
- The following shall be undertaken upon reporting at the counter:
- ID verification – The original documents as mentioned above. All candidates at the center shall be frisked by security guards.
- The capture of left thumbprints – The left thumbprints of all candidates shall be captured electronically and candidates are requested to cooperate with the on-duty staff with this process.
- Capturing of digital image – As a security measure, the digital image of the reporting candidates shall be captured and taken on record.
- The invigilator /on-duty staff shall guide the candidate to the assigned work station.
- Make note that the reporting time has been indicated to timely complete the foregoing activities as well as to familiarize the candidate with the process.
- The entry to the exam hall will close after 3:00 PM.
- Candidates are also advised to check the requirement for mandatory documents on Testing Day and comply with the same.
- NBE / Test center / Designated Agency / Staff on duty shall not be liable under any circumstances for delayed reporting and/or non-presentation of mandatory documents.
- The test-takers will be provided with rough papers inside the exam hall.
- No candidate will be allowed to leave the exam hall before the completion of the duration of NEET PG.
COVID-19 Guidelines for NEET PG 2023
- Same State Centre: Due to the rise in COVID-19 cases, NBE has increased NEET PG test centers & seats across the country. If a candidate had chosen the option “OTHERS” have been allotted test centers within the state of their correspondence address.
- COVID E-PASS: NEET PG Admit cards that will be issued to the candidates will bear a COVID E-PASS to facilitate the candidates in case of any travel-related restrictions or inter-state travel.
- Staggered Entry at NEET PG test centers: To avoid crowding, there will be staggered time slots for candidates to report at the exam center.
- Isolation Labs: Candidates will be checked at the entry point. Their temperature will be noted using thermo guns. Candidates detected with above normal temperature or displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 infection will be allowed to take the examination in an isolation lab.
- Compulsory use of Face Mask: Candidates will not be permitted entry at test centers without an appropriate protective face mask. Drinking water will be provided at the test center.
- COVID-19 Protective Safety Kit: Candidates will be provided with protective gear or a safety kit. The kit will have a face shield, a face mask, and 5 hand sanitizer sachets. Use of face mask and face shield is mandatory.
- Staggered exit of candidates from test centers: Candidates will be directed to leave the exam center in a staggered manner which will be communicated by the respective center in-charges in order to avoid crowding.
NOTE: Candidates are advised not to attend the examination if they are unwell and have COVID-19 like symptoms, It will be mandatory for all candidates to adhere to these instructions as part of COVID Appropriate Behaviour.

Items Not Allowed in NEET PG 2023 Exam Center
Candidates will not be allowed to take the following items inside the examination center under any circumstances.
- Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), notes, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Pen, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, etc.
- Any electronic device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, wristwatch/Health Band, Calculator, Electronic Pen/Scanner, etc.
- All ornaments like bracelets, Ring, Earrings, Nose-pin, Chain/Necklace, Pendants, Necklace with pendants, Badge, Brooch, etc.
- Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap, etc.
- Any eatable item opened or packed, soft drinks, water bottle, etc
- Any other item which could be used for unfair means, for hiding communication devices like wireless/Bluetooth device, spy camera, etc.
