NEET PG 2023 Document Upload Guidelines (Out): Check Size, Specifications, and Format
NEET PG 2023 document upload guidelines have been released by NBE in the official notifi. Candidates are required to upload photograph, signature, and thumb impression images while filling NEET PG 2023 Application Form. The last to fill the application form and upload the required documents is January 27, 2023.
- Based on NEET PG 2023 document upload guidelines, photograph and signature should be uploaded in JPEG/JPG format only. The file size should be less than 80 kb for photograph & thumb impression while it should be between 20-100 kb for the signature image.
- Other than that, candidates must note that the photograph should have white background only with at least 75% coverage of the face and head of the candidate.
- Candidates will also get the opportunity to edit details in the form from Jan 30 to Feb 3 and to rectify deficient images from Feb 14 to 17, 2023. Check NEET PG 2023 Exams Dates

NEET PG 2023 Application Form: Document Upload Guidelines
NBE has released the official PDF providing NEET PG 2023 Document Upload Guidelines. Candidates must go through the official guidelines provided below before registering for NEET PG 2023.
NEET PG Form Correction 2023
NBE will open NEET PG 2023 Form correction window on January 30, 2023 for all the registered candidates. However, during this time period, candidate will be allowed to edit all the details except Name, Nationality, Email, Mobile number and Test City. NBE will also open the final edit window to rectify only the uploaded images from Feb 14 to 17, 2023
NEET PG 2023 Photo Specification
The Photograph for NEET PG application should be:
- Passport-size, and not older than 3 months.
- Devoid of any border and the facial features and should be clearly visible.
- Recently clicked, having the name of the candidate and date of capturing the photograph should be imprinted at the bottom of the photo.
- A color one with white background only and at least 75% coverage of the face and head of the candidate.

NEET PG 2023 Signature Specifications
The applicant’s specimen signature for NEET PG application should be:
- In running handwriting, preferably with a black/blue fountain pen.
- In white background with dimensions not exceeding 3.5*1.5 cm.

NEET PG 2023 Thumb Impression Specifications
- Draw a box of 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm (width x height) on a white sheet of paper.
- Use a fresh blue/black colour ink pad.
- Set the scanner to 200 dpi.
- Save the scanned image of thumb-print as .jpg/.jpeg format for uplaoding

Do’s and Don’ts for NEET PG 2023 Photo and Signature
- The photograph should be clicked looking straight into the camera with a neutral expression.
- Ensure that the photograph does not have any reflection/shadow or red eyes.
- There should not be any scratches or stains on the photograph.
- The file size for both photographs as well as specimen signature should not exceed 80 kb.
- You can check the image size by right-clicking and selecting the Properties tab.
- The signatures containing only initials or in CAPITAL LETTERS or ones that are overwritten are not acceptable.
- The specimen Signature should be of the applicant only and not of any other person.
How to Scan Photograph & Signature for NEET PG 2023?
- Crop the images till the border of the boxes with the photograph/signature.
- Scan the image after making the requisite adjustments in size and resolution.
- In case the size of the image exceeds 80 KB, then you can adjust the same by setting the resolution of the scanner at 200 dpi and image quality at low.
- Save the image as .jpg/.jpeg.

Ques. From where can I get the accurate guidelines for NEET PG 2023 Document before uploading?
Ans. NAT has released the official notice stating all the important details related to documents uploading on the application form. However, the form correction facility will be provided but the candidates are advised to not make any mistake while uploading the same.
Ques. What is the correct format for uploading Photograph and Signature in NEET PG application form?
Ans. The photograph and signature should be uploaded in JPEG/JPG format only. The size of the photograph is 80 kb and of signature between 20-100 kb.
Ques. How can I upload a thumb impression in NEET PG application form?
Ans. The option for uploading the thumb impression will be there in the document upload section of the application form. The thumb impression should be uploaded in JPEG/JPG format only and the size of the thumb impression should be less than 80 kb.
Ques. I am able to achieve the minimum KB size as prescribed by NAT. How can I upload my documents in NEET PG application form?
Ans. Candidates can use photo editor or MS paint to reduce the size or to reach to the required size of the document. Documents uploaded in any other format or size will not be accepted by the authority.
Ques. What if I only upload the photograph, signature, and thumb impression under the same document in NEET PG 2023 application form?
Ans. Uploading only one document containing all the 3 images will not be accepted and at the end, you have to upload the separate images of all the documents. Therefore, candidates are advised not to do such mistakes and upload the documents as per the prescribed guidelines.
