    KEAM Application Form Correction 2023

    CEE will provide a KEAM Application form correction facility to the candidates after the completion of application process. It will be a one time facility that will be available on the official website of CEE. In order to make corrections in the application form, candidates will have to login with their KEAM Application number and password. All the corrections must be made before the last date.

    How to correct details on KEAM Application Form 2023? 

    The steps that candidates need to follow for making corrections in KEAM 2023 applications are as follows:

    Step 1: Visit the official website of CEE Kerala.

    Step 2: Click on “KEAM 2023 application form correction” link.

    Step 3: Enter your login credentials such as application number and DOB.

    Step 4: Now, proceed towards the corrections in the application form.

    Step 5: Take at least 2 printouts of the correct application form for further use.

    Prerequisites for KEAM 2023 Registration

    Before starting the registration procedure, candidates must make sure to have the following credentials of KEAM documents ready.

    • Valid Email ID and Mobile No.
    • Photograph, Signature and Left thumb impression scanned as per the prescribed guidelines.
    • Birth certificate/ SSLC/ Passport
    • Proof of Nativity (for Keralite candidates)
    • SSLC or equivalent certificate (for Date of birth proof)
    • Candidates in final year of 10+2 or VHS has to submit course certificate duly filled in with signature and seal of the Head of the Institution
    • Marksheet of qualifying examination
    • Inter-caste marriage certificate from the Tahsildar concerned, if applicable
    • NATA and NEET-UG scores 
    • Income certificate
    • Non-Creamy layer certificate/ Community certificate (if required)
    • Certificate for Special Reservation (if required)
    • Read the official KEAM prospectus before starting KEAM Registration.
    KEAM Application Steps

    How to fill KEAM 2023 Application Form?

    To fill the application form of KEAM 2023, the candidate has to go through the following six steps:

    Step 1: Registration

    • Click on the “KEAM Registration” link and enter the following details:
      • Applicant’s name
      • Date of birth
      • Email ID and mobile number
      • Password
      • Security code displayed on screen

    Upon successful registration, an application number will be generated that the candidate needs to note down. Using the system-generated application number and password, the candidate will be able to view the results of KEAM 2023, exercise option registration, and also check the allotment memo.

    Step 2: Fill KEAM Application form 2023

    The candidate has to next fill in all basic information pertaining to choices or courses, personal details, etc. 

    • Choice of Courses: The candidate must select the course (s) to which admission is sought. The candidate has to select an exam centre from the available options. 
    • Personal Details: In this section, the candidate has to enter details pertaining to gender, Aadhaar UID, permanent and communication address, etc. 
    • Academic Details: The candidate has to furnish Qualifying examination details, exam status of 10+2 or equivalent, whether the candidate has applied for KEAM before, etc.
    • Communal Reservation: Through this section, the candidate will be able to claim communal reservation. Check KEAM Reservation
    • Income Details: Candidate has to furnish details pertaining to family income, district, taluk, etc.

    Before submitting their KEAM 2021 application form, the candidate must ensure that it is complete in all respects. It is because once the form is submitted there is no option to edit it. 

    Step 3: Pay KEAM Application Fee

    The exam conducting authority has reduced the application fee of KEAM 2021 by INR 100. Candidates belonging to general category have to pay INR 700, whereas SC applicants have to pay INR 300 as the application fee. Candidates choosing Dubai as their examination center will have to remit an additional fee of INR 12,000 irrespective of category. There are two modes of paying the application fee:

    • Mode 1: Online payment can be made through internet banking/Credit Card/ Debit Card. Upon successful payment, the candidate will be redirected to the home page of KEAM 2023 application form, where the “Payment” tab will be highlighted in green, indicating successful transaction of the fee.
    • Mode 2: E-challan: To make the payment in this mode, the candidate must take a printout of the e-challan using the “Print e-challan” link. Using the printout, the candidate can make the cash payment at All head and sub-post offices in Kerala.

    Note: After receiving the payment, the post office will make the necessary entries in their online portal as well on the e-challan form. Before collecting the e-challan, ensure that it is duly updated and signed and that the official has recorded the transaction ID pertaining to the payment. If the e-challan payment is successful, the “Payment Application Fee” would turn green.

    Step 4: Uploading of Scanned Images

    In this step, the candidate must upload scanned images of photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression in the prescribed format given below:

    KEAM 2023 Registration Fee

    A candidate who does not belong to SC/ST communities will be treated as ‘General’ candidate for the collection of KEAM 2023 registration fee. Tabulated below is the application fee for the engineering programs:

    After successfully making the payment, students must take a printout of KEAM Application Fom 2023, in a manner that it contains the main page of application and performa (s) of supporting documents. To take a printout, the candidate must use the “Print Application” option.

    KEAM Application Status

    KEAM 2023 Application Form Status

    The status of the application form for KEAM 2023 will be displayed on the homepage of the candidate’s account. To view it, the candidate has to log-in to their individual accounts.

    Types of status available

    • Registration: Indicates Candidate’s Registration for online application.
    • Upload Images: Shows whether the images of photograph, signature and thumb impression are uploaded to the portal.
    • Fill Application: Indicates the application is filled up and finally submitted.
    • Pay Application Fee: Indicates whether CEE office has received payment confirmation.
    • Print Application: Denotes the printout of application is taken or not by the candidate.
    • Received by CEE: This status indicates whether the CEE office has received and taken up the application for scrutiny. If the status is green, it means the application is taken up for scrutiny.

    If there is a Green color against the status, it indicates completion of that step. On the other hand, a Red light signifies the step is yet to be performed.

    Note: Candidates whose application form will be found defective will not be able to download KEAM 2023 Admit Card unless and until errors are rectified. 

    Reasons for KEAM Application Form Rejection

    • Uploaded images not meeting prescribed guidelines
    • If the photo affixed on the printout of the application form of KEAM doesn’t match the photo that was uploaded online, the application could be rejected
    • If the affixed photograph is not duly attested by the Head of the Institution in which the studied last or by a Government Gazetted Officer,
    • Unclear and counterfeit signature and thumb impression can also lead to rejection.
    • Not furnishing a Nativity certificate with the printout.
    • If the applicable application fee corresponding to the category is not paid, it is another reason for cancellation.
    • If the printout of application and supporting documents reach the designated office after the last date.

    How to Reset KEAM password?

    If the candidate has lost the password, there is an option to reset it. The steps are given below:

    • Click on the “Forgot Password” link
    • The candidate will be redirected to a log-in window. Log in using the following details:
    1. Application Number
    2. Date of Birth
    3. Email ID (should be the same as entered at time of registration
    • Select a password
    • Click on submit

    How to retrieve KEAM Application Number?

    1. Click on the “Forgot Application Number” tab
    2. Log in to the window that opens using the application number, password, and DOB.

    The application number will be displayed on the screen. Note it down and keep it safe as it will be required for future reference.

    Ans. Candidates interested in admissions to Engineering, Architecture, B.Pharm, MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Siddha, Unani, Agriculture, Forestry, Veterinary and Fishery courses can apply online for KEAM 2023.

    Ques. Which is a suitable web browser to start the registration procedure for KEAM 2023?

    Ans. It is suggested to use any of the following web browsers in order to avoid any form of technical glitches while filling the application form of KEAM 2023 – Mozilla Firefox 3.0 and above or Google Chrome 3.0.

    Ques. Is it mandatory to fill in the application form of KEAM 2023 in one go?

    Ans. No, it is not necessary in a single attempt. Instead, the candidate can use the "Save" button available on the application form to save data entered at any stage of KEAM 2023 registration. The next time the candidate logs in to the application portal, the application filing process can be resumed from where it was left off.

    Ques. How will I know that my KEAM  2023 application has been received or accepted by the CEE authorities?

    Ans. If KEAM  2023 application form is successfully accepted, the ‘Received by CEE’ tab under the ‘ KEAM Application Status’ will light up in green. A confirmation message will also be sent on the candidate’s registered mobile number.
