    ICSE Question Papers 2023: Check Question Paper & Detailed Analysis

    ICSE question papers 2023 will be available for download soon. As per the ICSE date sheet, the class 10 theory exams are scheduled from February 27 to March 29, 2023. The exams are conducted for a duration of three hours. Exams of main subjects carry 80% weightage for the written exam and 20% for the internal assessments. 

    • Candidates appearing for the ICSE board exams need to appear in a minimum of 6 subjects.
    • The subjects are divided into categories group I, group II, and group III. 
    • Group I includes compulsory subjects.
    • A minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 subjects can be selected from group II. 
    • From group III, students are required to opt for 1 subject.

    ICSE Mathematics Paper 2023

    ICSE class 10 Mathematics paper was held on March 10, 2023. The exam was conducted from 11 AM to 1:30 PM. Mathematics paper was found to be moderate in difficulty level. The MCQ section was easy to solve but the long answer questions in section B were a bit tricky. Overall difficulty level of the exam was average only. The paper has two sections – sections A and B. 

    • Both sections carried 40 marks each.
    • Section A was compulsory. In section B, students were required to attempt any four questions. 

    ICSE History and Civics Paper 2023

    CISCE conducted class 10 History and Civics paper on March 6, 2023. The questions were moderately difficult and the paper was lengthy. There were two parts in the question paper – Part I and II. The questions in part I were compulsory. Part II was further divided into 2 sections – A and B. 

    • Section A had 3 questions, out of which students had to attempt any 2.
    • Section B contains 5 questions in total. Students were required to do any 3 questions in this section. 

    ICSE English Language Paper 2023

    ICSE conducted class 10 English Language paper on February 27, 2023. The paper was rated moderate by the students and the teachers. The difficulty level of the paper was exactly the same as that of the ICSE specimen question papers. There were total 5 questions in the paper:

    • The first question carried 20 marks and was based on composition writing.
    • Second question was on letter writing carrying 10 marks.
    • The third question had two parts – Notice and E-mail Writing.
    • The fourth question had an unseen passage and objective-type questions based on that passage.
    • Fifth question was based on grammar.
