GPAT 2023 Photograph & Signature Upload Guidelines: Check Size, Format and Other Details
GPAT Document Upload Guidelines will be released by NTA along with GPAT 2023 Official Exam Notification and GPAT Prospectus. The exam conducting authority defines the specifications of documents that must be uploaded while filling GPAT 2023 Application Form.
- During GPAT 2023 Form Correction, applicants will be allowed to make changes in the uploaded documents, if they will not upload them as per the guidelines from March 19, 2023.

- GPAT 2023 Exam date is expected to be released soon by National Testing Agency.

Before filling up the online form, scan the image of the candidate’s photo and signature. All of these documents must be uploaded during the submission of the application form. Given below are the photo specifications according to which the scanned copy must be uploaded in:

GPAT 2023 Photograph Guidelines
- Applicants must make sure that they are uploading a passport-size photograph for the online application process.
- The scanned copy of the photograph can be either colored or black/white. However, applicants must ensure that the photo has a very clear contrast.
- Applicants must note that 80% of their face must be clearly visible including ears.
- The photograph should be clicked against a light-colored, preferably white background.
- Polaroid photos and computer-generated photographs are not acceptable for upload.
- The applicant should be looking straight at the camera with a relaxed face.
- If the picture is taken using a flash make sure that there's no "red-eye".
- Clear spectacles are allowed, however, applicants must make sure that there are no reflections and the eyes can be seen clearly.
- Hats, masks, caps, and dark glasses are not acceptable, only religious headwear is allowed, but it must not cover your face.
- If the uploaded photograph does not meet all the instructions provided, is unclear, or looks fabricated the application form will be rejected
- GPAT Online Application Forms without photos being uploaded will be rejected.
Note: If the size of the file is more than 200 kb, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the no. of colors, DPI resolution, etc., during the process of scanning.

GPAT 2023 Signature Guidelines
- It is advisable to sign with Black Ink on plain white paper for the applicants’ specimen signature. Applicants must note that the signature is clearly visible
- Applicants are required to write the signature in running hand form.
- Applicants must note that writing the full name in capital letters will not be considered as a signature.
- The applicant’s signature on the attendance sheet at the time of examination and on the call letter should match the uploaded signature. In case of any mismatch, they will be disqualified.
- Applicants must note that unsigned online application forms will be rejected.

How to Remove Image Discrepancy?
NTA has provided the facility to remove image discrepancies. Candidates can do the same by following the steps given below:
- Visit the official website i.e. gpat.nta.nic.in
- Click on the link stating ”Remove Image Discrepancy”.
- Log in using the user id and password.
- The candidate’s dashboard will appear.
- Upload the image and click on “submit”

Given below are some do’s and dont’s for GPAT Documents Upload:
- Candidates are advised to upload the correct image, adhering to the specifications as NTA will not provide any scope of correction/alteration once the application is submitted.
- Scanned photograph and specimen signature should not be in any other format other than JPG/JPEG.
- It is advisable that the applicant’s photograph is clear, taken professionally.
- Please keep in mind that there should not be any obstruction like hats, caps, or dark glasses covering the face in the photograph.
- The specimen signature should be that of the applicant only and not of any other person.
- The applicant’s signature on the attendance sheet at the time of examination and on the call letter should match the uploaded signature. In case of any mismatch, the candidate in question will be disqualified.

Given below are some guidelines to scan documents for GPAT Application Form:
- The resolution of the scanner should be set at a minimum of 200 DPI (dots per inch) and the color set to True Color.
- Applicants must select the required file type.
- Crop the image in the scanner to the edge of the signature or photograph.
- Scan and save the image.

Given below are the guidelines to upload scanned copies of the applicant’s photograph for GPAT Online Application Form:
- Uploading the photograph and specimen signature is the third step in the GPAT online application process.
- Candidates would be required to upload the images right after registering for GPAT 2023 and filling out the application form for the same.
- Make note that you will not be able to make changes in the application form once you upload the images.
- As visible in the screenshot above, you will have to select the files containing the correct photograph and the specimen signature, enter the captcha as it appears, check the disclaimer and hit the upload button to complete the process.

Ques. What should I bring to GPAT exam?
Ans. Applicants are required to bring their GPAT 2023 Admit Card along with a valid Photo ID proof. Applicants can bring PAN card/Driving Licence/Voter ID/ Passport Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ E-Aadhaar/ Ration Card/ Aadhaar Enrolment No. with Photo as a valid photo ID proof.

Ans. Around 24,000 seats for admission to M. Pharm under GPAT Exam. Applicants are given admissions to around 841 pharmacy colleges and universities participating in it.

Ans. GPAT 2023 Application Form is released by the conducting body, i.e. NTA on February 16, 2023. Applicants can find their application forms on the official website of the conducting body.
