Provisional answer key for DU JAT 2022 will be released online. DU JAT 2022 Final Answer Key will be uploaded by the department of the university on the official website of the University of Delhi. Applicants can download the answer key and match it with their answers. The entrance exam is conducted for 400 marks. Each correct answer will be awarded with four marks and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The question paper are prepared in multiple series and each series is different from another. So, a normalization process is carried out to make the calculation unbiased and fair. Normalisation is done using an equi-percentile method. The percentile derived from these processes are finally used to calculate the rank of each candidate. The rank of the candidates is based on the total number of candidates appeared, average score, level of difficulty of entrance exam and the highest score secured.
In the entrance exam the question papers are prepared in four series and each series are different from each other. In order to make the calculation process fair the scores are calculated through normalization process. The final rank is prepared after concluding the normalization of marks. The normalisation process is done by the following method:

DU JAT admission will be based on the rank in a competitive examination, which is constructed on the basis of marks secured in DU JAT 2022, Group Discussion and Interview.
DU JAT 2022 will be of objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) conducted offline.
Seats under general category will comprise of all students who have achieved a higher rank in merit list regardless of their category (General / OBC / ST / SC). Merit List for Reserved category will have been made as per the reservation rules and seats allotted to a particular category. Separate merit list will be prepared for the reserved category.

Cut off for admission to DU colleges will be declared time to time with the procedure of admission and seats for admission remain vacant. Under DU JAT many colleges of the University of Delhi participate and offer some courses and programs. Every college has its own eligibility criteria and also it has its own cut off as per seats available for the course and programs. Centralized Cut off is announced by DU after the declaration of Merit.
Many factors influence cutoff every year such as mentioned below herewith:
Candidates who achieve a higher rank in the merit list, get the first chance for counselling. In the first session of counselling, admission is reserved as per the offer of the institutions and choices of candidates. After the first session of counselling, a new cut off list is released on the official website of DU for admission to the remaining seats.
Rank holder candidate, whose rank is lying under that cutoff, will be eligible for the next counselling session. This way for remaining seat cutoff will be announced for a 3rd counselling session. This will continue until the seats are available for admission and admission session is not over. There will be 3 counselling sessions in an admission procedure.

Candidates need to complete the admission formalities at the colleges within the specified time-frame. Candidates allotted colleges and courses are required to provide the necessary documents at the time of admission. Applicants should take a printout of the registration form and list of necessary documents or certificates and proceed to the respective colleges for document verification. Candidates need to pay the required fees for admission after the college/department approves their application.
Ques: What shall be the minimum marks in DU JAT to be eligible for admission?
Ans: The final rank list is prepared on the basis of marks in entrance test and in class 12 boards. Candidate having above 75% score in class 12 shall secure at least 230 marks in the entrance exam in order to be eligible for admission.

Ans: The GDPU is conducted after the rank qualifies the cut off. The interview is basically done to examine the communication skills of the candidate. The total weightage of GDPI in the preparation of merit list is 35%.

Ans: In DU JAT exam, question papers for each shift are different, therefore the difficulty level of the questions may vary. To adjust the difficulty levels of question papers, the marks of candidates are normalised.
