CBSE will release the application form for Single Girl Child Scholarship in October 2023, tentatively. Students will be able to fill and submit the application form online at cbse.gov.in. Candidates who want to apply for renewal can do the same by filling out a renewal application form. The scholarship can be renewed for a period of one year only on successful completion of class 11 and the student must have secured 50% or more marks in class 11.

Candidates who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for improvement exams. The syllabus for the improvement exam will be the same as that of the regular exam. Usually, the application for the improvement exam begins soon after the declaration of the CBSE 10th result.
