The answer key will be released by the authority before the declaration of result. The same can be downloaded from the official website of the exam. The exam consists of four different sets of question papers and the answer key for each set will be separately published.
Candidates can cross check their answers from the answer key and get an estimate of their score. If candidates find any discrepancy in the official answer key, they can challenge the authority regarding the same.
Merit list is prepared by the DTE authorities. Candidates will be ranked in the merit list according to scores obtained in the entrance exam. On the basis of the merit list candidates are called for participating in the counselling courses of the respective courses.
Tie-breaking criteria followed by DTE while preparing merit list:
Cut off marks are the minimum marks required for the candidate to clear the entrance examination. Cut off marks will be different for different courses and colleges. Candidates who secure marks more than equal to the cut off marks will be called for counselling for seat allotment.

Candidates need to register offline via filling Form B to take part in the counselling process. Participants will have the option to select the colleges and streams according to their preference.
Students need to follow the below counselling procedure:
Counselling will be conducted from 2nd week of July, 2022. Candidates will be allotted colleges and courses on merit cum preference basis. The seats will also be allotted depending upon the seat availability in a particular course among the various participating colleges. Counselling process will also involve document verification of all the selected candidates.
