Assam CEE 2022 Seat Allotment Result for Round 2 has been declared by ASTU. Candidates can check the allotment status on the official website- astu.ac.in. Qualified candidates will be required to submit their documents for verification by September 28, 2022. Seat Allotment Result for Round 3 will be declared on October 7, 2022.
Candidates who have qualified in the entrance examination will be admitted to the various undergraduate engineering programs at various government and private affiliated colleges in the state of Assam.The counselling process will be carried out in online mode.Candidates will be called for counselling based on their rank on the merit list.
Candidates will have to report to the allotted institute after verification and take the admission on the same day by paying an amount of INR 7450 as admission and INR 600 as counselling fees. Candidates also have to bring duly filled Form B along with the required documents for the counselling process of Assam CEE.
The third round of counselling has been announced. The candidates whose names will appear in the merit list will be given a chance to participate in the counselling process of Assam CEE. Candidates can follow the given below to get a clearer idea about the counselling process of Assam CEE 2022.
Step 1 - Candidates will have to fill and submit the Assam CEE counselling Form B along with the documents specified by the exam conducting body of Assam CEE to Assam Engineering College, Jalukbari, Guwahati.
Step 2 - The documents will then be verified by the concerned authorities and candidates will have to appear for a face to face interview with the selection panel before the seat allotment is announced.
Step 3 - All candidates who wish to go further in the counselling process will have to pay INR 600 to the Assam CEE exam conducting body as counselling fees.
Step 4 - The seat allotment for Assam CEE 2022 will be based on the rank obtained by candidates, the choice of their course, the choice of colleges filled by them in Form B and the availability of the seats in their preferred college and course.
Step 5 - After the final seat allotment is announced, all candidates will have to complete the admission formalities by paying the requisite fees. Those candidates who are going to get seats allotted into Government Engineering Colleges will have to take admission on the same day by paying INR 7450 in cash.
Candidates must note that the Form B is a very important aspect of the counselling process. Filling and submitting it accurately is key to the counselling process. Candidates will have to fill in the following details in the Assam CEE Counselling Form B:
Candidates will have to paste a recently clicked Passport Sized Colored Photograph and sign across after pasting it firmly (they should not staple) on the specified location on the form. Candidates must also note that they will need the signature of a parent or guardian. It is a mandatory step and will have to be taken in the presence of a gazetted officer, who is authorized to attest the Application Form B.
Candidates will have to carry the following documents with them during the counselling process. These documents will be verified and candidate will be allotted a seat only if they have correct documents.
To participate in Assam CEE Counselling 2022, candidates will have to fill and submit the counselling form (Form-B) first. Candidates will have to download the Form-B from the official Assam CEE 2022 website. Only those candidates whose name will be there in the merit list will be able to submit the Form-B at the time of counselling. The counselling Form-B will have to be submitted to the Chairman of the Admission Committee of Assam CEE on the day of the counselling. Assam CEE 2022 qualified candidates will be eligible to appear for the Dibrugarh University counselling process for admission to 4-year B.tech programme in the government and some private engineering colleges of Assam.
The counselling process is going to be conducted in offline mode. Candidates will have to attend the counselling in person only. They cannot have a representative or otherwise. Seat allotment will depend upon the candidate’s rank in the merit list, their choice of courses, their choices of institutes (as filled by them in Application Form-B) and seat availability for that particular course and college.
At the time of counselling, all original documents presented by the candidate will be verified. The 2nd and Final Round of counselling will be conducted, depending upon the number of vacant and available seats after the first round of counselling is done. The further rounds of counselling will include registration, choice filling of courses and colleges, verification of documents & allotment of seat just like in round 1.
