MD in PMR (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) is a PG education in the field of rehabilitation and restoration from medical conditions related to neuro-musculo-skeletal, cardiovascular, and pulmonary systems. The eligibility criteria for admission into the MD course is a degree in MBBS from a recognized university with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks in the case of SC/ST candidates).

Since, the NEET PG exam has been made the sole criteria for admission into all Disciplines of MD courses offered by both private as well as government medical colleges across India

However, some national medical colleges like AIIMS and JIPMER conduct a separate entrance exam for admissions into Doctorate of Medicine (MD) (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) course.
