BVSc AH Admission Process

BVSc AH: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for BVSc AH aspirants is not complicated and is as follows.

  • 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with a minimum of 50% marks secured from a recognized board of the country.
  • Should have cleared All India Pre-Veterinary Test (AIPVT) or some state specific veterinary test

Criteria for rejection of the candidates:

A candidate is not be allowed admission to BVSc AH degree course including those admitted under 15% reserved quota of Veterinary Council of India if he/she suffers the following disabilities, namely:-:

  1. disability of body including disability of chestorspine more than 50%,
  2. disability of lower limb of more than 50%,
  3. disability of upper limb,
  4. visually handicapped candidates and those with hearing disability,
  5. candidates with progressive diseases like myopathies etc.

BVSc AH: Entrance Exams

Under the provisions of the Indian veterinary council act, 1984, Indian nationals from all over India are eligible to apply for 15% of the total seats in all veterinary colleges in India to gain admission to the bachelor’s degree in veterinary science and animal husbandry. Among GADVASU and College of Veterinary Science, Pant Nagar the former is definitely a better option for a BVSc and AH. The university has a great campus. The student crowd at the university is good, as most students who top the merit list choose GADVASU. You will get good faculty. The facilities offered at the institute are sufficient.
