Instrumentation and Control engineering of NIT Trichy is a tremendously demanding branch. I have a few friends from NIT Trichy and according to them, the department is great. Except for a few of the faculties the faculty members are cooperative.

In fact, in this branch, you will be exposed to a very healthy learning procedure. Most essentially, the department of Instrumentation and Control engineering has a broad and diversified curriculum. You can ask some of the alumni members to walk you through the subjects, electives, curriculum, and other relevant areas of concern.

There is nothing called instrumentation engineering. The students usually study the syllabus of the electronic branch that includes learning low-level languages along with the complete command of them.

  • There is a very high demand for highly skilled engineers who know the top programming languages like TopCoder, GitHub, and many more.
  • Learning these languages totally depends upon the person that they can do without going to college.
  • Becoming an electronics engineer totally depends upon the person, and their effort, not the college.
  • Some of the students follow the GATE syllabus to enter into the government sectors.
  • Some get recruitment in top private companies by learning these programming languages. The college can help you out only by giving a proper study environment that can promote your overall development.

If you wish to join the private sector, then only the placement facility provided by the college is useful to you.

  3. Assignments provide little help.
  4. Due to continuous fests in the college, it might be difficult to concentrate on your studies.
  5. Like every college, there should be 4 classes per week, but here in ICE, the faculty members tend to keep 6-8 classes per week with students attending the classes just for the attendance.
  6. Subjects like PDD, Engineering Mechanics, and Analytical Instrumentation are taken for granted.

If you are really interested in Instrumentation, only then you should join this department. Otherwise, join some other branch in NIT T so that you are able to learn something.

One of my friends studied at the IT branch but has little idea about the IC branch. But, when compared to DAIICT, Nirma University is the best place to study if you have firmly established goals and would like to work for them.

  • The management is really good but it is a strict college that might give few school vibes.
  • At Nirma, you will learn a lot about discipline, good manners, and management while having a good college life and a great career if you are not planning to do your Masters in foreign universities.
  • They have a diverse student population.
  • If you can afford the fee at Nirma University, my advice to you would be to go ahead and secure your seat.
