Bachelor of Arts (BA) Subjects, Course, Elective Courses, Syllabus, Books 2023

BA completely focuses on areas of Humanities, Social Studies and Liberal Arts. One needs to study 5 compulsory subjects, as well as a few electives for 3 years of course duration. However, there is a vast variety of specializations like Philosophy, Economics, Political Science, Geography, Sociology, Literature, etc

The minimum eligibility required to pursue a BA course is that students should clear their class 12th board exams from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA. Colleges grant admission to BA courses both on the basis of merit and entrance exams as well. For merit based admission process students have to score the mentioned cut off marks.

BA Syllabus depends on the specialisation chosen by the student. Students can study BA English Syllabus if they want to study the English language, similarly, students interested in history should study BA History Syllabus. Students interested in Economics should study BA Economics Syllabus and students interested in Political science must go for BA Political Science Syllabus
