Hindustan Aerospace and Engineering (HAE) Pune is a technical institute approved by the Director-General of Civil Aviation and is administered by the managing body of Sha-Shib Group of Institutions. The institute is dedicated to providing excellence in the field of aviation maintenance engineering by administering Aircraft Maintenance Engineers into the Aviation industry in India and abroad. Hindustan Aerospace and Engineering Pune offers a 2-year full-time course in two specializations. The details for the same are as tabulated below

Candidate appearing or passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) with 50% or 3 years engineering diploma in mechanical/ electrical engineering from any recognized Board or University.

Note: Applicants must have had a medical exam attested & certified by a qualified practitioner with at least an MBBS degree.

HAE Pune Admission

The authority of Hindustan Aerospace and Engineering Pune grants admission to candidates on a first come first serve basis. All the selected candidates are required to register by paying a fee of INR 20,500 at the Institute along with the admission form and necessary documents. Application for admission to the course should be made in a prescribed form, along with an attached prospectus. Application forms properly and accurately filled in block letters should be submitted along with the registration fee. The documents required include a medical certificate, three copies of qualifying exam mark sheet and 5 passport sized photographs. 

HAE Pune Facilities

Library: The library at HAE Pune is well stocked with the latest books, Periodicals, Magazines & Journals in Aviation, Computer, Electronics, Science, Engineering subjects etc. Students, faculty and staff can access the library for academic and research purposes. Books can even be issued on a weekly basis.

Hostel: Accommodation is provided separately for male and female students. Lunch and dinner facility is available in the hostels. 

Classrooms and Labs: The classrooms and labs are spacious and well-ventillated and are equipped with projectors and Audio/Visual facilities. The institute also has its own aircraft for training purposes. 

Others: The institute has a canteen that serves a variety of delicacies and has seating arrangements for students, faculty and staff. Sports facilities for Badminton, Basketball, Volleyball and Cricket are also available.

HAE Pune Placements

Hindustan Aerospace and Engineering Pune has a dedicated placement cell that provides its students with proper professional training and placement opportunities for students to be recruited in different sectors in aviation maintenance such as MRO's (Maintenance & Repair Organizations, CROs (Component repair organizations) and AMO (Approved Maintenance Organizations). Students are also offered positions at Govt/ Private firms like international and Domestic Airlines.
