Admission Criteria
- The candidates seeking admission to M.Sc (Sports Coaching) shall have to qualify in the written test, regarding knowledge of sports sciences and in the interview in which personality, power of expression, aptitude, and knowledge in the field of sports is judged.
- The selection is also based on academic qualification, achievements in sports concerned, experience, achievements in the field of coaching and marks obtained in Diploma in Sports Coaching
Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to 2 Years Full-time M.Sc Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
- Graduate degree from any recognized Indian/ Foreign University
- Diploma in Sports Coaching from SAI NS NIS, Patiala or its academic sub-centers with minimum 60% marks
- Aptitude for research work
- Proficiency in sports
- Age- Not more than 45 years on the day of commencement of course(Upper age limit can be relaxed upto three years to the candidates belongs to ST/SC/OBC and International Sportsperson)

Eligibility
Candidates seeking admissions to M.Sc. degree Program at NSNIS must satisfy following eligibility criterias:
- Graduate in any stream from any recognized Indian/Foreign university.
- Applicants should have passed Diploma course in Sports Coaching from S.A.I., N.S.N.I.S., Patiala or its other academic centres with at least 60% marks.
- Must have aptitude for research work Sports Proficiency.
Other criteria
- Upper age limit must not exceed 45 years on the day of commencement of the Program
- For deserving candidates, institute may provide a relaxation of 3 years
