Magadh University, DDE is made for the benefit of the students of South Asian countries who are not able to get admission as regular students. DDE, MU offers B.Ed, BLIS at the UG level and MLIS, MA (Education) at the PG level along with a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) in higher learning through distance mode of education. Admission to B.Ed is offered on the basis of candidates’ performance in the university-based entrance tests followed by document verification at the time of final admission. DDE, MU allows admission to MLIS, BLIS, MA (Education), and D.El.Ed. admission is based on candidates’ marks in the last qualifying examination followed by counselling.

Application forms can be obtained from the designated colleges or can be downloaded from the official portal of DDE, Magadh University. DDE, MU releases the merit list for shortlisted candidates for further counselling formalities as per the scheduled time.

Magadh University Distance Education offers undergraduate courses in two specializations B.Ed and BLIS. Admission to such courses, candidates must have passed Graduation, and selection to these courses is entrance or merit-based.

Candidates must have passed Graduation with 50% marks and Trained in-service teachers in elementary education OR have completed NCTE recognized teacher education program through face to face mode for getting admission into B.Ed at Magadh University Distance Education
