Mirza Ghalib College Gaya was established in the year of 1969 to promote higher education among the Minority Communities in Gaya city of Bihar. The college is recognized by the state government.

MGC Gaya offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses across Arts, Science and Commerce streams. The college has also added vocational courses such as Bachelor of Biotechnology, Bachelor of Computer Applications and Bachelor of Business Management.
