The Krishnagar Govt. College offers Bachelor degree programmes in honours and pass courses. It provides B.A. (Honours) degree under six different specialisations, while B.Sc. (honours) degree is provided under eight different specialisations. In addition, it offers BA (General) for students looking to pursue a pass course in Arts, and B.Sc. (General) with two specializations - Pure Science and Bio Science, for students looking to pursue a pass courses in Science.

Application process for UG courses in Krishnagar Govt. College generally starts in May every year. Duration of all the UG courses in Krishnagar Govt. College is 3 years.

Key Points to be Noted:

53 seats are available for general candidates in all the specialization of B.A honours except Political science which has 45 seats available for general category.The remaining seats are for reserved candidates
2% marks will be deducted from the total percentage obtained in B.A./ B.Sc. (Hons.) exam for the candidates who passed the qualifying exam.

Krishnagar Govt. College PG Admissions 2023

The Krishnagar Govt. College offers master degree courses in Arts as well as Science streams. The candidates can opt for Bengali or Philosophy in Arts section and Science students can choose from either Geography or Zoology.

Application process for the admission in PG courses start from the month of August every year. Only applicants with a minimum of 45% marks in B.A./B.Sc. can apply.

Key Points to be Noted:

60% of the seats are reserved in each course for those candidates who have Graduation with Honours in the respective subjective from Home University (Kalyani University).
The remaining 40% seats will be for candidates from other Universities as well as candidates from home university who do not figure in the 60% merit list.
The candidates passed before 2015 are not to be considered for admission in M.A / M.Sc course.

For admission, The candidate needs to visit the official website and then click in the option ‘Click here for online submission of application form’
Then fill in all the details required and upload all the necessary scanned documents, photographs, signature etc
After filling up the form, click “submit” and then take two or three printouts of the form as two copies must be brought during verification
Visit the website regularly to get updates on merit list

Education is important but environment of your education place also important .

Remarks:

Eligibility minimum 60% and also biology 60% You can easily get application form in internet cafe , this form fillup is online and fess is 400 . Application start after higher secondary examination result. Improvement needed I think in cafe , hostel etc.

The admission process is very good and short timing. To find the application form search the official website in college. Eligibility of the course is 12 pass out. No entrance exam be taken to admission.

At first notification of admission is published on the College website. Eager students are asked to fill up the application form. Then the students are shortlisted by the mark they get in the 12th examination. As it is the top college of the district or university the cut-off is very high

All you must know before opting BSC Honours Math in Krishnagar Government College.

Remarks:

I passed my 12th final exam from Nabadwip Bakultala High School Under the West Bengal Higher Secondary Board of Education in the year 2018 with a percentage of 84.2. Thereafter I applied for a BSC honours course in Mathematics in Krishnagar Government College via their online portal. Application fees and dates all were notified by the college on their own site. Application fees were around 1500 rupees. So, there was no issue with finding out all of this information in time. The eligibility of this course is very simple. One should pass his/her 12th final exam to apply for this course. And according to the merits of those students they will be shortlisted later and the shortlisted students will be called upon for counselling in the department. Being a SC candidate I was called upon in 2nd councelling and I took admission there. Overall 90% marks in the 12th exam and at least 85% marks in math are good enough for a general category student to get admission in this course. By the way, I got a 99% mark in math.

The admission process is good, no entrance exams are needed, and eligibility is 12th pass with a minimum 55%number. The application form is found on the college website. no application fees are required There are reserved seats for SC, ST, and Obc. Sometimes the server is down but it is rear.

Remarks:

There was no entrance exam in my college. 12th pass candidates were eligible. I found the application form in collegedunia. As it was the time of covid 19 there was no entrance exam only h.s. marks were granted.
