The K.K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research was established in 1984 at Bhausahebnagar and then it was shifted to Nashik City in September 1986. The institute is awarded A Grade by the Government of Maharashtra. It offers four-year full-time undergraduate education in B.E. program in six basic disciplines. It also offers two-year Post Graduate Programs in MCA, M.E. and MBA. Research level Ph.D. program is also available in various streams. K.K. Wagh Institute of Engineering Education and Research is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune and accredited by AICTE, New Delhi and NBA. Admission to the courses is based on time to time guideline s issued by DTE, Maharashtra.

Admission to B.E. course in Technology is based on JEE Main exam or state level MAH-CET entrance exam.
Applicants to B.E. has to clear HSC examination with at least 50% marks to be eligible for admission.
Candidates applying in MCA, MBA, and M.E. courses must hold Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Candidates who have applied for M.E. course will have to appear in national level GATE entrance examination.
However, to be eligible for admission to MBA and MCA, candidates will have to appear in MAH-MBA-CET and MAH-MCA-CET conducted by the DTE, Maharashtra.
The entrance test will be Multiple Choice Questions based and there will be no negative marking for the wrong answer.
The composite score for preparing a merit list of undergraduate and post graduate applicants will be determined based on the scores obtained in entrance examinations and marks obtained in 10+2 as well as bachelor’s examination.
The college offers 5% relaxation for reserved category (SC/ ST/ OBC) candidates and persons with disability candidates of Maharashtrian applicants for admission to the courses.
The minimum eligibility to apply for Ph.D. course is having passed Master’s course with at least 50% marks.
Candidates qualifying GATE (valid score)/ GPAT (valid score)/ SET/ NET/ JRF/ SRF Examinations will be exempted from entrance examination to apply for Ph.D. course.

K.K. Wagh Institute of Engineering offers admission in 4-year under-graduate program in B.E. course in 9 major specializations offered in two shifts by the institute.

The minimum eligibility to apply for B.E. course is having passed HSC (10+2) examination from a recognized board with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% marks by SC/ST/OBC/PwD). Key Points:

MAH-CET is an online exam for the duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes consisting of objective type 200 questions from Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Ability/ Reading Comprehension and Logical Reasoning.
Each question in MAH-CET exam carries one mark and there is no provision for negative marking.
